Used to lock in closet rack

My closet rack was simply sitting on top of other closet supports, this in combination with solid drywall anchors support the weight I expected for wire shelving.

I like these better than the plastic interlocking clips, alittle more secure but more diffucult to move.

Met my needs perfectly

We have ClosetMaid shelving throughout our home - both in the closets and in the garage. We had an addition built a few years ago, and we wanted to continue the look and feel of the rest of the home. It worked perfectly and was easy to install. Easy to cut to size. Needed different supports for stud work and sheetrock. Designed side shelving to hold two copy paper boxes, side by side.

Better than Plastic

Used these metal clips to attach closet shelving to studs. Instead of nails provided, I used longer screws, making point of attachment even more secure. Where no stud existed, the included wall anchors proved convenient. For three 6-foot wire shelves, I used an entire bag of clips (12 clips per bag), making sure shelf will hold adequate weight without sagging and pulling out. Very easy installation.

We recently purchased our home and the original builder did not assure that the wire shelves were secured to the studs. It was a simple fix using the fixed mount hardware kit from Lowes.
