Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shock xtra blue does not have the amount of chlorine in it that traditional shock should. It only has 39% chlorine and plenty of added chemicals vs what you can buy at a pool store for $1 more. If your pool really needs shocking I would buy a brand that has a little more chlorine in it. If you are shocking on a weekly basis then this product will work fine. Just be careful to do it at night so it doesnt bleach your liner.

Great product works fast

It has done great for me, I used it when I opened my pool from winter and it cleared up my pool in about a day. It has saying power too unlike any other brand of shock that you would get from a chain store. I would highly recomend this product it has clarifier along with shock and saves you time and money.

And, kids can swim within the hour after applying. Great product!

A Very Good Product
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Originally used this product after opening my pool - water was discolored and hazy. Worked so good that I continued to use it and didn't have to use as much algaecide. Also like that it is not as "powdery" as other brands - this reduces the risk of inhalation when applying it in the pool.

This Stuff is Awesome!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a 27,000 gallon pool and we put 3 bottles of the Xtra Blue in every Friday night and our pool has remained issue free all summer. Can't beat that. I read books by placing them on the bottom of my pool. :-)

Love this shock!

I continue to use this one even though it is more expensive because it keeps my pool beautiful! We never have a problem with it being cloudy. If it starts to go a little green we pour this in and its clear and perfect again in minutes!

Best results from shock

The clarity of the water is excellent and much better than that achieved with any other shock product I have tried.
