The product may work but it leaves too much iron in the water. I've been trying to open my pool for 7 weeks and I've spent hundreds on extra chemicals I've never needed before to get the particulates this product left in the water OUT. Read the Consumer complaints for long term problems before buying. Lowes. Pleas stock alternatives!

Would RecommendThis shock is the best one I've found......So easy to use!!!!...No pre-mixing in water!!!…Just pop the cap and distribute across the top evenly....We were fighting a serious algae bloom...added bottles of liquid chlorine ...shocked using a different brand...Nothing was cutting it!!!..….Felt like a losing battle!!!!.....We added a bottle of this today with the filter running and it immediately dispersed across the pool ...was amazing how quickly it spread....Noticed little tiny bubbles fizzing at...

Would Not RecommendThe price of the plastic bottles are way too expensive. I could have gotten the same product in the bag at another well know retail outlet for half the money. Too bad I was did not have time to go. In the future will purchase at WallyWorld.

Would RecommendWhy didn't someone think of this sooner? Tired of cutting bags and trying to cast shock into the deep end of the pool from a rapidly deflating bag. The plastic bottle allows quick opening and easy casting of shock into the pool. If you can recycle the bottle, then it's the best all around! The Clorox name inspires confidence and the results were excellent. My pool looks like liquid glass! Thanks!

Would RecommendProduct works as expected, is easy to pour into the in ground pool. Wish it would come in other sized packages as my pool is 24'k gallons so I have to use two bottles and part of another. 2 pound containers would be good. Other than that it works well and keeps water crystal clear when used once per week as recommended
I was Shocked
Would RecommendOk, I have been using this for a number of years and never thought to much of it till this year. The new packaging is so much better. You used to have to cut the top to poor the product out but now you just untwist the top. So much easier to use. PS It also helps keep the pool clean!

Easier than the old bag style shock
Would RecommendIt's certainly easier to use than the old bag style shock Lowes used to carry. It doesn't dissolve instantly as some do (a big plus for me) so it gets down about 6 feet before the granules start to break apart. Seems to work about the same.
