I used just a small amount in the bath, and the water felt visibly softer and more soothing on my skin. It has a very subtle scent clean but not overpowering and leaves no residue. I truly felt like I'd stepped out of a hot tub, not a bathtub. My skin was left moisturized and didn't feel sticky or greasy afterward. It gave the bath a very special touch.
