It’s soft but not too soft that it leaves behind particles and strong enough to clean thoroughly.

This is great for the cost and the thickness of it. It does a great job. I would buy it again.

This is by far my favorite brand. It’s clean and soft at a reasonable price. It also doesn’t rip or shred easily.

Not much to say about toilet paper but I definitely like soft paper. It’s more ply so I don’t have to use too much extra

Excellent product!

I absolutely love Charmin Essentials Soft! It’s so soft and absorbent. Great texture and doesn’t feel cheap. I do wish it were a bit more affordable or on sale at a better price. Also I’ve heard it doesn’t break down quickly so that may cause issues for some plumbing and toilets. But as far as softness goes it’s great.

Save your money

I'm in my 40's and have never bought any toilet paper but Charmin. With the pandemic that was extremely tough but I held out until I found this package of Charmin. I didn't notice the "essential" on the label so I thought it was the same old Charmin. Boy, was I wrong! This is cheap toilet paper. Charmin should be embarrassed to put their name on it.

This is a nice durable tissue that is great for households with children. It last a while if you purchase the mega roll.

Charming is charming, good paper and is soft. Good for sensitive skin. The price is right for this rolls.

My favorite brand of toilet paper!! Between ultra aloft and ultra strong, Charmin is the only brand of toilet paper I like to buy.

Disappointed in the value.

Not much of a savings when you get less paper! I always by the Ultra Soft and these last much longer. Your Essentials do not even fit my holder! I will continue to purchase the Ultra Soft as long as you do not reduce them in size. I love your product so do not change.

This toilet paper is okay, hence the 3 stars. It is the minimal requirement I have for toilet paper. I wouldn’t buy it again unless I’m tight on cash. I prefer something a little thicker. Fortunately, this is soft enough and doesn’t compromise strength (doesn’t rip in areas non-perforated).

Only toilet paper I buy! Its inexpensive and soft. Its not too soft and its not too thin. Its perfect. It also last awhile too. I wont buy any other brand.

This is the only kind of toilet papering but it’s soft and durable never leaves crumbs and a little goes a long way.

What a disappointment to see 1 ply!

I have ALWAYS purchased Charmin and was very disappointed to see this thin one ply tp. I would of returned it back to the store but I already opened the package. I guess I will have to find another brand because what I received is pathetic and will not purchase Charmin again!

Product is not the same.

I have been buying Charmin products for over 30 years. In the last year, 2020, I have noticed a tremendous change in the durability and softness of the toilet paper. I have tried the different styles of the product and no luck. As a family our favorite was the Charmin with Aloe. Maybe this is now the “Ultra Gentle”, which is hard to find. I’m at a loss of which variation I should get. Would like to stay a faithful customer, but not sure if we can.
