Works fine but box was missing a critical part.
Would RecommendThe ignition switch was the correct switch for my bbq however once I got it home and installed it initially would not work. That is when I realized that the jumper wire that was supposed to be included in the box was not there. Because it would have been a one hour plus and 2 gallons of gas round trip to exchange the unit I made my own jumper. Now it works fine and it's nice not having to use a lighter each time to light my bbq.

Would Recommendreplaced the original starter with this one. this one is bigger so it wouldn't fit in the space the original one was. I just used the heat shield and a couple self tapping screw and put it on tin sheet below the knobs. Just beware of any open ports unless you like getting shocked.

Would RecommendRebuilt an old gas grill and the parts selected worked perfectly. Will recommend this brand and item to anyone.
Works good, make sure use the jumper
Would RecommendI did not think that I needed to read the instructions on this. I was confused as to why it did not work with the button installed. I almost put it back in the box until I noticed that there was a short wire in the box. I realized that if you are going to use the pushbutton you have to install a jumper wire on the unit. Once I did that, it works great.

Worked well on MasterForge 2518-3 grill 5 burners
Pretty much plug and play on my master forge 2518-3 except for one thing, there is jumper that is required if the grill does not have ignition switches per burner. If you use that and just the ignition button on the module, it works well enough. But is the grill has switches per burner (usually activated by pushing the burner knob), the jumper will not be used as shown in the directions.
