Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Most customers praise this sprayer for reliable performance at an affordable price, calling it ideal for occasional tasks like weed control and deck sealing. Many appreciate its lightweight, compact design and ease of use. However, a substantial group reports persistent air leaks and inability to hold pressure, requiring repeated pumping or failing entirely. Several note the opaque tank makes monitoring levels difficult, and the pump handle feels flimsy. Despite these drawbacks, most consider it acceptable value for non-professional use, though some feel disappointed by durability issues.

Would RecommendI bought this prayer a few years ago and just love it. Had two others of another brand and just didn't last at all, nothing but problems with the washers and seals. I like this one as the top screws on the outside. Also had two back pack sprayers that didn't last long either. This one is my go to sprayer and going to get another one, one for chemicals and one for fertilizers. Tough little sprayer. We will see how the new one is.
Bad Warranty sprayer does not last
Would Not RecommendSprayer worked good when first bought, I cleaned sprayer after every use. The seals are cheap and dry out after storing for a few months. Lubricant does not always work Contacted customer service, SEALS are excluded from product warranty, but you can pay manufacturer to ship you new ones for about as much $ as a new sprayer. Do yourself a favor, spend more for a Chapin product. Check product label, Hudson makes a lot of sprayers on the market under different names.
Junk Sprayer
Would Not RecommendI purchased this in July 2021, tried to use it today (April 2022) and there's a leak. I thoroughly cleaned and dried after every use. Kept it stored in the house so it wasn't exposed to the weather and climate change. Now it's garbage and I have to buy a new one.
Watch your knuckles when turning the handle
I pumped up the sprayer good and hard, and then when turning the handle to lock it in place, I had my hand slid slightly off center on the handle, so my knuckles were a little low. The cap below the handle has sharp protrusions, and I left a piece of one of my knuckles on it. See photos. Sorry that they're blurry. Also, mine leaked air slowly. It wasn't terrible, but if I had to use it all day, it would be an annoyance.
cheaply made and very low spray pressure
Would Not RecommendThis was a total waste of my money. It leaks, is made of cheap plastic, and has the worst spray pressure. Spend more and get a quality product.
leaked air
Would Not RecommendWhen I pumped it up, air would leak from where the hose connected to the canister. So it would spray for maybe 30 seconds before the pressure was gone and I had to repump it.
