I would buy the unit again.

I bought this unit to supply my home during power outages. The gen was easy to assemble and started up right away. I test ran it for 5hrs and worked perfectly and changed the oil as per instructions. My wife can even move it around easily. It is good value for the price of the unit.

This generator is fantastic!

This is the BEST generator I have ever owned...hands down. We purchased this unit as we live in a hurricane prone area. The ease of use, mobility, and fuel cut-off switch are some of the features that drew me to this unit. But most importantly of all, customer service is simply the BEST of any product that I have ever owned. I would recommend this product 1000 x over.

I'd Buy THAT For a Dollar

The model 100219 came well packaged and protected. Once Big Bertha was removed from the packaging, the time from set-up to start-up was less than 15-minutes. I put some gas and oil in it, choked it once and it started on the second pull. I do have to say the the electric start will be a nice option. This is my first generator. So far - I like it.

Upgrading my old Champion generator

Just bought this generator as an upgrade from my older, smaller 5500 watt Champion generator. I got ten years out of the old one, and it still runs great. Wanted a little more power, and electric start ensures my wife will be able to use it, if I'm at work for hurricane duties. Great generators and great values.

Love the cord.

Very Good Quality on All Levels

Upon opening the box, it was noted how well the product was packaged and protected. Very easy and limited assembly. I especially like how this generator includes the wheel kit, base stand, and electrical cord. The quality of this product is refreshing, as it is very good compared to others that I have seen friends purchase. The features, aesthetics, function, style, capacity and overall quality of this generator are absolutely fantastic. Keep up the great work CHAMPION!

So far so good looks like a good quality unit

This is my second portable generator. I purchased it in the event of an extended power outage. Fortunately, I have not had to use it for that purpose as yet. After unboxing it setup and assembly were easy. The unit I purchased included an electric start and it started right up with one push of the button. The unit looks sturdy and well designed. Time will tell. My only criticisms are you need metric wrenches for the assembly and the battery does not recharge while running the generator. I assume...

Easy set-up and starts with ease!

I've never had a generator before but living in Central FL, you never know when the next hurricane will arrive. I bought this generator and found it easy to set up (install 2 wheels and connect the battery), and had it ready to go in less than 30 minutes. It started right up and put out 242v consistently. Hooked it up this week to my new transfer switch and I can see it's going to run everything I wanted to power during an outage. I don't hope for the next hurricane, but when it comes, I'll be r...

Generator works well, but the battery won't take a charge

As I said, the generator works well, but the battery is defective. Still won't take a charge. Called customer service, after 20 minutes on hold I gave up. Buy at your own risk, you won't get any help through customer service.

Great power for the price

Packed really well, easy to assemble, great price for a whole home generator. Loved that it came with the oil and a power cord. Does need an adaptor (not included) to plug into the home access port.

bought as a back up if power is lost. father in law has same unit and worked great when power was out for 3-4 days a couple winters ago. have ran unit a couple times to power only 120 vac portables. runs great, starts great.

I would buy this pruduct again

I bought this mainly as an emergency generator, it is very easy to use. However it is a bit heavy

It runs well and comes with everything you need but the gas. The only issues I found were that the gas cap needs to be on tight (it will click when it is tight) or it will stall. Also, the gas tank is not pitched so you always have another 20 minutes of gas when the engine stops. The generator seems well made and should last. I followed the break in directions and had no problem when I tested the circuits under load.

This generator is great! Easy assembly; stable power!

I bought it for back-up power in case of emergencies. Ran it through the 5 hour break-in period, running a variety of appliances. It was easy to assemble, it ran great, and it was easy to perform the scheduled maintenance.
