Great Buy

Looked around for several smaller safes, price was at least 200.00 less that same type safe at other stores(sale weekend) Perfect for what I needed the safe for. A few long guns and some coin storage. Small issue with the shelves and the way they mount but nothing that could not be overcome. Good price, good quality, for the money you can not beat it. No issue with lock system, it works fine.

Great value

I acquired two of these from Lowes at $299 each which is an excellent value (Black Friday Sale). I planned on acquiring the next size up which was on sale for $547 but decided against it due to the added weight. This model has a little less fire time but is still constructed well and should provide adequate safety with the ability to move should it ever be deem necessary. Superb value for a quality product ...

I purchased this safe during the Black Friday sale for $297 and then used a coupon to get an additional 10% off, bringing the price down to $267. At this price point, this safe is a phenomenal value ... in that same price range, competitors (Stack-On, Sentry) offer only "gun cabinets" that are not fire proof and weigh 1/2 or less than what this unit does. Exactly what I wanted

I was looking for a gun cabinet because I couldn't spend the extra money for a safe. I found this safe for not much more than I was planning to spend on a cabinet. I like the fact that I can configure the shelves for a variety of guns, whether pistols or long guns. The quality of the safe is excellent. Construction is very solid, and the combination lock feels well-made. Bought this as the floor model on black friday for $250! Probably the best purchase we've ever made! The ease of putting the shelves in and having a place for guns and documents sold us on this, especially for the price. We are firm believers in you get what you pay for, but with this... the quality far exceeds the price and I highly recommend this! Thanks Lowes for such a great black friday deal :)

Heavy Cabinet

I was shopping for inexpensive and heavy safe for sometime now. I came across this model (different online forums suggested this one), and learned that this model usually goes on Black Friday Sale each year, so I decided to wait for Black Friday 2011 to get buy it $100 cheaper. I just received this safe yesterday. I was really surprised by the appearance, weight, and workmanship of this safe. My husband will be bolting it to the garage floor. Screaming good buy

I purchased this safe after looking at many safes under $500. This was by far the best in quality. An excellent value at regular price of $397, however, I bought it on Black Friday for $297 ($100 off regular price) - a screaming good buy! One of the better features is the adjustable shelving - few others had this. The mechanical lock takes a bit of time to open compared to an electronic lock, but will never need batteries.

Absolutely recommended!

Are you kidding me? The absolutely best value I have seen for a high quality safe @ an entry level price. This safe is sold @ a rock bottom price and it is fire rated. Most safes listed at this price range are not fire rated, plus the safe stores 12 long guns. The only safes I have found that compare with this safe start @ $350 and they charge an additional $125 to $200 for shipping. I was able to steal this safe for $280, out the door (Black Friday plus an additional 10% off for opening a Lowes...

Great quality for the price!

Purchased this safe last year for guns and valuables. Buying another one. Price and quality excellent. The size makes it easy to store in closet or other tight space. Larger safes are too big for smaller spaces. Lowes price is better than most other suppliers too. Originally placed in second home for when I wasn't there.

For the price cant go wrong!

Its black Friday and the last thing I wanted to do was go around driving and walking around crowded stores, BUT I just moved out of my house into a condo in a "different" neighborhood then I was used to and I felt it was time to get a gun safe. Quick Break In!!!!

I bought this item to keep my firearms safe it served its purpose I lost the combo and couldnt get in I drilled the combo out and i was in the safe in 4 minutes for a professional this isnt hard to get in for this reason I rate the security a 2

This safe is what every gun owner needs, a safe place to store your guns away from others, large enough to keep most guns and small enough to keep hidden. Money well spent...

Tremendous value! Great safe!

After doing considerable research over several months, I selected this Centurion 12 safe as the best value around. I had read, and heard, that this safe is cheap and not much more than a lock-box for guns. Let me assure you, it is not! This is a well-built safe, fully capable of protecting my guns from any break-in. It would take considerable work to open this safe. The finish is superb, the combination dial is smooth and sturdy and it is a very well-built item. I recommend it to anyone.

Locked up

Love this safe, the features and the pricing. Easy to bolt to the floor without issue. The adjustable shelves are great quality and make it easy to configure the inside of the safe. The only thing that I would like to see improved is the insulation foam around the door...it is minimal and the door does not fit very tight, in fact it rattles when pulled on. I will adjust this myself, but just would expect a bit more from Liberty Safe.

Good Value

After shopping around, I found a large range of quality and prices. I narrowed my search down to this model and found that Lowes was the most conveinent location to recover (a very heavy beast, 285#) as well as the best price around. Get some help to get this baby into the house!

gun safe

This gun safe is awsome. We purchased it to replace one exactly like it. Our house was robbed and they tried to get into this safe with cro-bars. They tried to pry it open and beat the combination lock and the safe held up like a champ, which is why we purchased this one!

Perfect for what I wanted

The main reason I bought this is so I don't have to worry about my 5 year old getting into my guns. For that use this is a perfect, reasonably priced safe. It can reasonably hold 5 rifles on one side with lots of space for ammo or handguns on the shelves on the other side. The only way anyone will get into the safe is if they are willing to do serious damage to it to get inside. I have it bolted into a wooden floor. Great Safe

This safe is built really well. I looked at Stack ON and Sentry safes but the quality is not even close. This safe is easy to open too.

Overall its a good starter safe and is manufactured well. However, the quality of the combination knob and tumbler set is fair at best. Sometimes the inner workings of the combination dial and lock clank and have resistance, but will clear up if you turn the dial back and forth a couple of times.
