This product is quite resilient.

After purchase, this product has been sitting dormant for years; however, having being installed recently, there were absolutely no issues encountered. This to me speaks to the integrity and soundness of the product. The investment was a good one.

Top notch installation service

I just had this unit installed yesterday by ENS Electric in West Michigan and it looks great and is much quieter than I thought. Although it's too early to see how it will work in an actual power outage, we did a "dry run" of it yesterday and it worked great. Can't wait to see how it works next time we lose power, but I'm feeling confident.

Perfect for peace of mind

After the installation of our Generac, it tests itself once a week and is very quiet. It sits nicely against our landscape and does not stick out. Although there hasn't been any power outages yet, it has given our family a peace of mind. Just knowing that our home will be protected is definitely worth it. And we know that we will be able to help our extended family and neighbors if in need. That's what its all about.

We really appreciate the auto start and auto exercise features of this generator. We also like the appearance of the generator. The electrician did a great job connecting it. In Alaska a generator is so valuable especially in the winter when a house can freeze up quickly if we loose power.

piece of mind

Works great when you need it most. Love the fact I don't have to keep feeding it gas to keep it running. Recharges battery every week by automatically running for 10 minutes at a programmed time. It is a piece of mind knowing family will have heat and power at the house in a outage while I am out of town working.

This product looks like it belongs

We haven't had a power outage since installation but it runs on cue every week to charge and maintain. Very quiet and efficient. We tell everyone to look at it an explain the benefits.

This is my 2nd one, hopefully this one lasts longer than the one I replaced

So far so good. Haven't needed it yet but if the unit performs on power outages it's doing its job! Most of all it gives one peace of mind knowing its there.

Ready out of the box product.

This product is excellent. It comes almost ready out of the box, with easy to follow instructions and the quality has excelled my expectations. Enough power to do what is needed. No hic ups of any kind. Smooth power transitions from service to back up.

Excellent features

So far I am happy with the generator, it just went through its first auto test and I was surprised how quiet it was. We could hear my old gasoline generator from one end of the house to the other, but the generac couldn't be heard until I walked into the room next to the generator.

Have not lost power since I purchased the unit. From others that have one, it sounds like I will be very happy.

Generac 11kw generator

So glad we got this generator with automatic switch. It's gone on more than 3 times in the past year when electricity has gone off....seamless transition. Just a little loud outside of rooms it's installed outside of, but definitely worth having power!

Everything i asked for

The General 11kw is the perfect size for my family. I was amazed at the number of circuit breakers for this unit. The majority of my home will be with power. I am thankful I went with General. When the unit was on, it runs quite smoothly and softly. Not loud and noisy like others I've seen. Thanks Generac

So Far So Good

The product seems to work well. It comes on as scheduled each week for it's check-up. The Generac did come on 3 quick times during a snow storm when the power went out for a few minutes here and there. Only have had the unit since Oct. 2016, went through a New England Winter, but have not even had the unit for a year Would just tell prospective customers to be careful with whom they do business as the Electrical Contractor. Would not recommend the one we used.

Install was quick and the installers were professional and courteous. Were very clean and informative . Took me through installation and how it worked. Also showed me about servicing unit. Would recommend to others.

Works as advertised.

Installed for about a year now. While not the largest full house size, it handles every vital need. Finally had a power outage and Generac powered up as expected. Love hearing it power up and go through its 10-12 min internal checks every 2 weeks as scheduled. The green all functioning well indicator light is reassuring to see. Not very visible in full daylight but shows up well at night. Having the ability to lock the cabinet to prevent vandalism or power theft is nice, although the lock itself...

great clean looking machine.

Our tech. was awesome. Installation was fast and all our questions were answered in laymen's terms so I could understand. he was efficient and thorough and courteous. Our power went out the other night and within seconds the generator took over the house, when the power came back on it automatically shut itself off. I love it!!!!

very satisfied

Great for the country where power outages are a regular happening and restoration of power can be sporadic. It will be great when Canada gets better representation for the product. Most of the setup and installation had to be coordinated by myself. -Noel
