Drying could be better

Always have to use top setting to get the dishes to dry good which means the cycle is super long.

Epic Fail in Quality & Design

I've had it one year and I opened the door, heard a pop and thick plastic pieces literally fell off the bottom, and the door continues to give a loud popping sound when opening and closing. The interior is poorly designed and everyday dishes don't fit. You can't put cooking utensils in with the eating utensils because they'll hit the wash arm and the upper rack is raised as high as it will go, so you're forced to use the ridiculous top ra...

Great dishwasher overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've run two loads in this dishwasher so far. My only feedback is that the upper adjustable rack for glasses should have a middle setting on it. The higher setting is a bit too high and items run into the silverware rack, and the bottom setting is a bit too low where the plates can bump into the glass rack. Otherwise, we are loving this appliance.

We recently purchased a new home and replaced all the kitchen appliances with café units. They look wonderful but we have had numerous issues with all of them. The dishwasher has been replaced because it couldn’t be fixed and the new one has already had numerous parts replaced on it. This is all within two months of original installation. We have had service calls on the microwave, refrigerator and the induction stove too.

Our old one was 14 years old, brand new when we purchased the home. I did the jib but without the bells and whistles this new one has. Love, love the quiet of the dishwasher. Quality construction and quality install.

Nice washer

The washer is very quiet when operating. It does a great job cleaning the dishes with minimal pre rinsing. The drain screen is easy to access and clean.

GE Cafe dish washer

GE Cafe dishwasher is very quiet, you barely know it is running. Cycle typically takes two hours, but cleans dishes nearly as well as hand washing. It does look nice, especially when paired with the rest of the GECafe suite we purchased (refrigerator, stove, drawer microwave, vent hood,& toaster oven) during our kitchen remodel.Racks are adjustable which helps when larger items are placed in the unit.

the recommended cascade pods not fully dissolving. leaving residue in dispenser cup. water is hot enough. top rack for glassware does not fully extend/pull out. it sticks or glides roughly. difficult to load. black plastic strip underneath, front right side, corroded, cracked and broke off after 4 months.

Silent Night

Decent Dishwasher Grossly Overpriced.

This dishwasher is no better than the 10 yr old Maytag it replaced. The DW is very quiet. It cleans well and has plenty of functional options. The third rack on top is a good idea that doesn’t really work. With the middle rack in the upper position, my tervis tumblers drag on top rack. With the middle rack on the lower setting, the middle rack drags on the dinner plates on the bottom. I tried many times to make this work. Eventually, I removed the top rack. Pros and cons

Silverware rack is nice to keep them apart for better cleaning The third rack is nice for flat spoons and the like, as long as we don't forget we put stuff in there Had higher expectations of the bottle wash jets as we can a lot of food and reuse the mason jars, but we still need to prewash the jars.
