So new!

So far, so good. We’ve only run it a couple of times as it’s only been installed for about a week. Hoping for great long term performance.

Needed repair in just two months

After only 66 cycles and two months, our dishwasher was leaking. It turns out it had already melted through the lower spray arm and was shooting large streams of water directly at the door. Seems like a huge design flaw in such a pricey dishwasher, I noticed the aftermarket spray arms from GE had metal plates on the bottom to protect them. Glad we bought the warranty from the store as we’ve already had to use it.

Poor performance

We bought this dishwasher to replace an older Cafe dishwasher. We have had this dishwasher for 2 months and the lower spray arm has melted on the heating element. GE sent a repair person out to look at the problem. He lowered the heating element and said he did not know what else to do. He recommended we do not use the ultra dry option. I am not happy about not being able to use a drying option. I was happy with prior GE Cafe dishwasher not happy with new one.

The dishwasher is very quiet and does a very good job washing the dishes.

Leaks

Only one month old leaking water all over floor to find out known issues with this and still installed without changing out parts faulty. Not happy

don’t buy

Not even six months old the top rack is out of line. Bottom rack comes out very easily. The metal is extremely weak and difficult Plates so there’s a horrible product all around overrated.

My review

It is super quiet. I don’t like that I can’t have water bottles in it AND regular dinner plates. If you move the top shelf down, water bottle will fit but dinner plates on bottom won’t. So the utensil rack is pretty useless. Performance is great but takes a few hours to wash which is also different for me. I wouldn’t buy again

Love the top rack for large utensils. We are always using he bottle washer and the lid holder which are unexpected features we love!!!

Leaking leaking and more leaking

This model is the second whole dishwasher we have had replaced since renovating our kitchen this past summer. In addition, we have replaced 5 doors due to leaking. It is still leaking and I am so frustrated.

LEAKED AFTER JUST 5 YEARS. QUIET. Does not always fully dissolve cascade detergent packets, even with a "normal" load. A word about Cafe seres (from 15 years ago, with MW replacement and dishwasher 5 YEARS AGO): Microwave failed early, replaced with the same to match the style. The handle was cheap plastic w/ SS "look" contact paper- quickly wore off. Refrigerator, ice maker stopped dispensing after 7 yrs, membrane over buttons wore out too, dishwasher (1st one) had heater stuck on and ...

Control Lock not optimal

It washes nicely and looks great, but the racks don’t glide easily which makes me think that something will wear down and break sooner rather than later. Also the fact that you need to get onto the app to lock the control panel is absurd. I should be able to lock the controls easily while loading or unloading. Understand one version of my machine has control locks on the panel and another has it only through the app. I gotthe latter.

Good quality

We recently purchased this dishwasher. It has adequate room for my dishes. I love the top pull out tray for larger utensils and knives. It is quiet when running. My only concern is that the dishes are not completely dry, even when using the normal heated dry setting.

RUN AWAY from this dishwasher!

RUN AWAY from this dishwasher! We replaced the dishwasher when it stopped working after 1 1/2 years. Bought the same product, hoping the original,poor quality was a fluke. After 1 repair using the extended warranty we purchased, we are once again without a working dishwasher. It seems to work for about a year, then stops. After waiting for over 6 weeks for the second extended warranty repair, we still do not have a working dishwasher. GE should be ashamed to sell this piece of junk.

beautiful but not reliable

Got the whole cafe series after our kitchen remodel. Have had multiple problems with the dishwasher leaking, the heating element, and generally just not cleaning well. looks nice but not functional.

Not impressed

Does not live up to the hype! Not very sturdy, when the racks are pulled out they squeak. Water spots on flatware even when settings are adjusted and different Cascade products are used.

Amazing product

I absolutely love this product. It’s very quiet and cleans spotless.

Disappointed from the start

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would genuinely consider giving this product a four-star rating, as we had a similar model in our previous home and thoroughly enjoyed it.
