The worst coffee maker ever made

Brewing, cleaning, grinding, filter, water, leaking

makes good coffee but replacement parts unobtainab

makes good coffee and I really wanted to like it! But replacement parts are unobtainable. The O ring sealing the water reservoir and filter cartridge wears out quickly and you won't be able to find a good replacement. Bummer! GE should offer O ring replacements along with cartridges, maybe 1 O ring for every 3 cartridges because that's about how often I had to scour the internet to find the right one. Not worth the hassle.

Great coffee/Easy

Coffee is great and product is easy to use. It really needs rollers or some easy design in bringing the appliance back and forth from under the counter. You must lift the whole pot so it makes that part difficult. Also a white cord would have been prettier than black on the white coffee pot.

Don't spend the money on this

I loved this coffee maker until it stopped grinding. I cleaned it per the manual, etc. No matter what I did, no grinder. It does make good coffee but issues with the water container leaking and the grinder quitting make me wish I hadn't paid so much money for a coffee maker. I will go back to the Cuis.....rt grind and brew for a lot less money. From everything I've read, there is no point in calling support or hoping they will stand behind their product. So disappointed.

Great coffee machine

Very please with the product and it makes a great cup of coffee. It looks so beautiful on my counter.

Great until it wasn't

Loved this machine until I did standard maintenance, and now it leaks to the point that it's unusable. For the price, it should have lasted longer than 19 months.

This thing sucks

I have now owned both of your yucking piece of ehit, coffee makers, which neither one of them can heat coffee. I have now had to heat all coffee made from your coffee makers in the microwave to bring to any kind of temperature and after this morning, I will never buy any more of your yucking coffee makers. I have destroyed my kitchen all because your coffee maker will not brew if the brew basket is not closed. Good enough I plan on having a very good weekend taking a shotgun to this yucking piec...

MACHINE IS COMPLETELY USELESS

THIS PRODUCT IS COMPLETELY USELESS. ALL IT DOES IS BREW HOT WATER. THE BEANS CANNOT MAKE IT INTO THE GRINDER. EVEN WHEN YOU STUFF THE BEANS IN, THEY DON'T EVEN GRIND, JUST TURN IN THE GRINDER. DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT IF YOU WANT COFFEE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The coffee maker completes our CAFE kitchen appliance collection! Fresh ground and brewed coffee is the best! The grinder doesn't seem to feed the beans in very well - they have to be manipulated. Maybe that will change over time?

Leaking from water reservoir

I have used this coffee maker for approximately two years, and the water now leaks continuously from the base of the reservoir, emptying the entire tank onto the floor. I have replaced the filters and maintained the machine according to the instructions, but the issue persists. Given the purchase price, it is disappointing that the unit has developed this problem, and I am uncertain whether replacing the water reservoir would resolve it. Easy to use and great coffee

Very happy with this coffee maker. It's easy to use. The grinder makes for a fresh cup every morning. When guests come, switching to making a full carafe, while still having the "Grind' feature, is quick and easy. Coffee comes out delicious and quick every morning. (My only issue, the time setting never stays at the correct time, no matter how many times I set the clock).

Good coffee, to many issues

I am on my 3rd machine in a yr. Issues with the grinder, pot and basket closure.

Great Coffee. For a short time. Then it breaks.

Makes fantastic coffee, until it doesn't because it starts leaking in less than 14 months, and then there is no option for repair. They will happily sell you another one. Every year, I guess. Disappointing that such an expensive product boasts such terrible build quality. It made really good coffee. Until it didn't.

Disappointed

Great looking coffee maker, but does not keep coffee hot. There is no heating unit for the carafe. It is thermal but just doesn’t really keep the coffee temp I prefer. Now that my 1 yr warranty has just expired, the grinder doesn’t seem to be calibrating the correct amount of beans per what machine is set for cup wise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for a couple years and I'm just at wits end with it. The grinder gave me issues several times and now we've moved onto it randomly leaking all over my counter and floor. I've descaled it, reinstalled the reservoir bottom several times and I'm just done with it. Impossible to keep it clean as well. I spent so much on this and I'm surprised it hasn't performed better.

Beautiful Carafe, but...

I purchased the white matte Thermal Carafe. It's a beautiful coffee maker and you will taste the quality of the coffee when brewed. I like that there is three types of brew strengths and you can change the grind size. However, the reason for my three star on this item review is due to a defect on the thermal carafe itself. HARD TO CLEAN

THE COFFEE IS GREAT, BUT CLEANING THE GRIND BASKET AFTER MAKING A POT IS A PAIN. IT GRINDS TOO MANY BEANS WHICH FILL UP ALONG THE FILTER AND INTO THE FILTER HOLDER THAT DOESN'T DETACH. POOR DESIGN FOR CLEANING.
