What Customers Are Saying
The Craftsman lawn mower bagger has received mixed reviews. While some users found it easy to assemble and a good fit for their mowers, many others reported significant issues, including poor design, difficulty with assembly and installation, the tube/hose frequently detaching, the bagger filling up quickly, and it not fitting certain mower models as advertised. Some customers noted the larger tube as an improvement over older models in reducing clogging, and a few said the bagger was easy to use and install. However, the overall consensus is that the bagger's compatibility and design can be problematic, and careful verification of fit is recommended before purchase.

Overall a good bag
Would RecommendLiked: Large clear tube. Dislikes: The flip top side latch The large tube seems to have greatly reduced clogging, compared to older, smaller tubes. The clear tube makes a quick glance all that's needed to know grass or leaves are flowing. The side latch for the flip top is a bit of a pain to unhook

They fill up quick. Screwed the hose in securely.
Would RecommendI like the bigger tube and the see through but it doesn’t last long. I use the gator blades to help shred the leaves more. The hardest part of assembly is getting the rod all the way through the hinge holes. Still need to work on that. It’s very hard to unlatch the lid when you got to dump the bags. Getting easier the more I open it

Should have got this years ago.
Would RecommendI have been thinking about getting bagger for years, finally the trees have been dropping enough leaves in the fall.

Not what i would expect for the cost
Would Not RecommendTube blows of the elbow when in use and I'm using with a 46" deck- have to strap it down in order to use. Also, rear bag compartment not sealed well. Blows a lot of dust and debris all over me and the mower. Should work much better for the $500+ price tag

It's Not Like the Good Old Days
Would Not RecommendThis 2 Bagger replaces my old 2 bagger that I bought in 2008 with my old Craftsman tractor. Like the performance of the tractor, this one doesn't measure up to the unit it replaced. My old 2 bagger was constructed of thick-wall, blow-molded rigid plastic, from the exit chute of the mower to the two baskets on the back. Everything was rigid and sturdy. It fit together perfectly, but came apart in the middle in the event that the chute became clogged with leaves or other debris. Not so, this one. ...

Doesn’t fit my mower
Would Not RecommendThe app/website said it fit my mower. It does not. I was able to make a bracket but I was very time consuming. It does work but not well, probably due to the bracket modification. I have to empty the baskets more frequently and clear the discharge from the deck. It will be interesting when the leaves start falling.

Very expensive for something that doesn’t work
Flexible tubing should be longer so that it doesn’t separate from the bottom hard tubing because of the mower vibration. Called Craftsman and got no satisfaction. Poor design. Would not recommend!

I bought this riding mower from Lowes (Elk Grove). It worked for a while and now it stop working. When turn on the ignition key and keeps turning. Since I paid for a 3 year warranty I figure they would come out look at it or trouble shoot it for me. Apparently you have to call or chat with craftsman and they tell you to call or email another place. what they do is get your information and tell you where to take the riding mower. I live in Elk Grove and have to trailer it up to Grass Valley to...
