What Customers Are Saying
The Craftsman lawn mower bagger has received mixed reviews. While some users found it easy to assemble and a good fit for their mowers, many others reported significant issues, including poor design, difficulty with assembly and installation, the tube/hose frequently detaching, the bagger filling up quickly, and it not fitting certain mower models as advertised. Some customers noted the larger tube as an improvement over older models in reducing clogging, and a few said the bagger was easy to use and install. However, the overall consensus is that the bagger's compatibility and design can be problematic, and careful verification of fit is recommended before purchase.

It does exactly what I wanted to do by holding the grass and not leaving on the yard.

Make sure you get the right bagger

Seems like a poor design
Either assembly instructions are very poor or it’s a bad design. Tube from bagger to mower constantly separates which quickly becomes very frustrating

Very difficult to get customer service from craftsman for replacement parts
So far so good
Would RecommendMy previous Craftsman rider lasted 25 years. It broke and no parts are available any longer. So it was time for a replacement. I saw this one online and read reviews. Mostly positive. Order process was easy and scheduling delivery was very easy. It was delivered in great shape. I just had to remove one shipping bracket and put in gas. It fired right off when I hit the starter. After letting it break in at medium throttle for about 15 minutes, I went and mowed my yard. I have nearly an acre and...

Make sure the chute fits your model before using
Would RecommendThe product is advertised to fit any model Craftsman riding after year 2010. The discharge chute does not fit properly on my YT3000 model year 2012. the rear bag mounting assembly, works fine. the assembly instructions are fine.

Plugs up on a 42 inch (T110) mower
Would Not RecommendLess than 10 minutes of mowing and it plugged up three times. Not enough air flow from a T110 42 inch mower to make this bagger effective.

Bagger assembly is tough for older women
Would RecommendI have to wait for my son-in-law to come over and help me assemble and tighten up the hardware. I was hoping it would have come already attached to the tractor. I hope once it's fully assembled and attached I will like it, but I can't answer that yet. I still would recommend it for using, I'm just a little frustrated with assembling it.
