Not compatible with craftsman 57933. Will not program and pair. Directions are horrible

Easy entry into garage

My Craftsman garage control quit working a few months ago after approx 10 years. I was afraid that it would be difficult to replace until i seen this item in Lowes. Easy to install and easy to program. Works perfectly.

Suitable replacement

Worked as expected - setup directions on keypad cover were accurate.

Flawless Performance

it works okay, but cover is weak and breaks easily

I’m on my second remote keypad. The flip cover tabs are very weak and break very easily. Once it breaks water can short out keypad. Other than the cover, it works good and is easy to install and setup. But for a craftsman product, they could have and should have done much better.

Works great!

The unit came with an included battery and I was very successful in locking the code with my door. This was the perfect solution for our door opener issues. The product was a perfect fit for our opener. Thanks, Mike

did not work with listed opener

My opener was listed as an acceptable model, but the opener would not link up. Very frustrating. I understand when a model is no longer acceptable due to age or model replacement, but don't list it if it is not going to work. My next model will not be Craftsman.

Remote keypad

This replaced one I had that stopped working. Easy to install and setup!

Easy installation!

I needed to replace an old keypad that no longer worked. This was such a easy install that I had it up and working in a half hour. Saved a lot of $$ doing this myself!

Craftsman works with Liftmaster Garage Openers

Followed the instructions and it worked like a charm. Lowes associate took the time to confirm it was compatible with my garage door unit. She was very helpful! This saved me a few dollars (smiling). Thanks Lowes, Happy Camper

Works like it should

This is a universal opener so you will need to know details about your opener - ie: you'll need your users manual. With that info though, it was an easy set up and it works just like the old one.

As advertised.

My old keypad broke at the battery. Well went online and prices were all over the place. They asked what color the learn button is and then the reviews said maybe could be...... Too crazy. And then i remembered that Lowes now carries Craftsman. Brought it local any problems take it back. Well no problems, Put the battery in. Used the learn button on the opener. And installed it. Happy as can be.

Stylish looks !

Just a bit different to program from my previous 315 CRAFTSMAN KEYPAD ....But as long as you follow instructions on KEYPAD , it is a breeze .

Works fine, instructions are terrible.

Followed the instructions to a T but they are wrong. Check the antenna color and not the "learn light". Craftsman products are great, but the instructions had me banging my head for half an hour.

Learning button vs ANTENNA color

I hope this helps others to avoid frustration. When setting up this keypad, I followed the instructions to the letter with no success. My Craftsman 3/4 HP opener #41AC175-A2 has a red-orange learn button, so i followed those procedures. After finding a LiftMaster web page with a chart, i saw that antennas were also color coded and mine has a purple wire. I started over using the purple procedure and it worked right away.

Ruined my garage door

After installing this my garage door now opens and closes by itself when it’s never had problems before. Sure, the keypad works but now this door is opening and closing throughout the entire day. I regret buying this cause now I have bigger problems than I did before this purchase. Also a new code and reset doesn’t fix problem.
