Craftsman 16 inch Plastic Tool Box

I bought the Craftsman 16 inch Red Plastic Tool Box to contain my "inside-the house" tools. The tool box functions as expected and makes it easier to carry small hand tools around to where they are needed. In hindsight, I should have bought the Craftsman 19 inch Plastic Tool Box instead.

Small and sturdy lockbox!

The product is the prefect size since I am unable to carry heavy items and has ample space/cavities for small items like bolts/bits etc.

Trunk toolbox

It does the job I need it to. I dont like random tools hanging out in my trunk. I'm always on the go and like to have everything I need just in case. This toolbox works perfectly

to cheap already broke

Craftsman has the worst tools now on the market no warranty for life anymore is why no contractors mechanics use anymore i broke a new Large Flat Head craftsman screwxdricer

This small toolbox serves as just the right size for small hand tools stored in my home office. It beats going out to the attached garage for a small hand tool ie, just for a screwdriver.

Top Compartment Latch Broken

I purchased a few items for my son since he just closed on a fixer-upper. When I got to his house and showed him the tool box, I was disappointed to see that one of the plastic latches on the small top compartments was broken. Had to return it and get another one - made sure to check all of the latches the second time.

My New Tool Box

Lightweight, easy to find because of the red top & large enough to hold all the necessary tools; hammer, screwdrivers, tape measure, etc.

Served it’s purpose

I needed a small tool box for a set of combination wrenches. I wanted a metal box because of durability but one wasn’t available.

I live the fact that it has small compartments and easy to stored. I recommend it to anyone who has trouble carrying heavy boxes. very durable.

Sturdy & lightweight

We have purged tools we no longer use and our vintage heavy metal tool box is history.

Good for in home use, with light tools. Several compartments for organizing and accessibility.

Not strong enough to carry very many tools.

This is a light weight tool box only. I placed several hand wrenches, sockets along with a hammer, etc. and the sides of the box started to push out which made it hard to lock. After I got it locked the latch on the box looked like it was going to pull out away from the box when I lifted it up. I don't believe it would last very long before it brook. I am 72 years old and have been a certified mechanic for years. I've had many different tool boxes over the years and normally choose Craftsman...

Good box

Purchased this tool box for my tractor. Will hold all the tools I need while working with the tractor.
