Handy Size But Should Be Metal

Decent basic compact box for those small quickie jobs, for car trunk or back of truck. This is exactly how mine is used. Filled with smaller version of standard sized tools (e.g. stubby hammer). Really like the quick access panels on top. Box could be much improved by 1) NOT tapering it to the base which decreases capacity/storage flexibility, 2) making it tougher by making it out of steel—like the great USA made original boxes were, and, 3) making it in the USA. Still have one from my Grandfath...

Nice tool box for the money.

Needed a reasonably priced tool box for my metric tools and this one fit my needs like a glove. Decent construction quality at this price point with small top storage bins that make easy access for smaller often used tools. Only concern is how long the single latch will last. Would have preferred two latches like he old tool box had.

Gift for Grandson

We purchased the tool box as a gift for our 11 year old Grandson. We also filled the box with various tools and gadgets as it is his first. He was surprised when we gave it to him even though it was #1 on his request list. I now have another anxious Apprentice.

I saved up my money to buy my first tool box. One of the hinges broke the first week I had it. I took good care of it, but it still came undone and won't go back together right.
