Don't waste your money.

I bought an SE2200 edger a couple of years ago and it was difficult to start from the very beginning. It will not start today so it's going in the dumpster and I'll go buy an Echo edger. Echo tools cost a bit more but they just work. I will never putchase another Craftsman yard tool again.

Died after 2 months.

Been out of commission for over a month waiting for repair. Get to pay another $126 to pick it up from the recommended warranty repair shop. I'm hoping someday to get reimbursed from warranty. Based on my interactions with customer service, I'm not holding my breath.

Craftsman Handheld Gas Lawn Edger

It was delivered on time and was purchased as a gift. The recipient if very pleased with the edger.

Is not efficient

I use it , then after 5 minutes it over heat

Strong broke on the 3rd time using it i just wouldn't recommend this particular edger

Awkward

It is kind of awkward to use the way it is balanced. Doesn't take long before you have to let your arms rest because of the balance thing. Only used it a couple times on a 300'+ long driveway but seems to run fine.

I recommend for home use

Quality product for the price. Only negative about product is the handle is thin plastic. Otherwise, strong machine

Broke after 2 1/2 months

I had this Craftsman Edger for 2 and 1/2 months and had used it 3 times. During the 3rd time of use, the blade would no longer engage when I pressed the lever. Took it back to Lowes and they told me that I only had 30 days to return it, but since there was a 2 year warranty, I could contact Craftsman and they would send me a new one. Called Craftsman and was told that this issue wasn't on the 2 year warranty, but was covered for only 30 days. So bought a $200 piece of junk.

It works

Easy to start

Picked up and tried to use it and it didn't work. So it was used by someone else they repackaged it and sold it again this should never happen

Works good and light weight

First time I have used electric weed eater. It is very light and does the job.

Edger cover is made of cheap plastic.

Edger cover is cheap plastic. Had to call and order another part after mine broke at the 3 bolt connection. Ofcouse I say cheap plastic. They said yes it's under warranty for 2 years but we call that every day use problem. I said no it's your plastic problem. And had to pay for another one plus shipping.

Bad

Blade is unchangeable. Broke two of these trying to change the blades. Just gotta throw them away. Absolutely absurd (never had this problem with any other edger)
