Would Not RecommendThe brake locks in place and won't release. I've had to disassemble it twice to get the brake unstuck. It's going back.

Can not wear gloves to pull open the tape. End will not hook onto end of board. End will not latch onto anything to get a long measurement. Takes two people to take a long measurement.

Would Not RecommendI've had this thing for a month. I replaced an older tape measure with something I could easily read. Today, I was using it as designed. I had it about 12 feet out, and the tab slipped off, quickly reeling the tape back in. It slammed into the housing and bent the tape. This is the first time I have used it!! I have accidentally and purposefully performed this same task with other tape measures without any issues. Do better Crapsman.
