Gift gone bad!

Received Craftsman Lithium-ion LED Spotlight for a birthday gift. Used it 3 or 4 times, charged it... life was good. After using it the next time the charger would not work. Tried it several more times over the next couple of weeks and still would not take the charge. I grew up with craftsman. That’s all my dad would buy… Lifetime warranty, top quality. Extremely Disappointed

We purchased this light for our home as a backup for an older B&D light that was heavier (I assume Ni-Cad battery vs. Li-Ion). After a handful of sporadic uses, it will not take a charge or if it is charged, the LED is extremely dim. In researching this, it seems many folks have experienced the same problem. Do you offer a fix (repair or replace) for this issue?

Stays Dim

Even though the light still works and seems to charge, it is very dim. Did not last two years.

Gift that never worked

I received this as a gift a couple of years ago and needed it yesterday. Plugged the usb cord in and can’t seem to get it to work. Very dissatisfied as I own many Craftsman products that have served me well, this is the only Craftsman product that is a complete dud!

Junk Light - Won’t Charge

I received mine as a Christmas gift and used it a handful of times but wanted it for emergencies. I got it out recently and it was dead so I attempted to charge it and it won’t turn on. Don’t buy this junk.

No Longer Chargeable

My craftsman was strictly used for emergencies or walking out to the shed on occasion. The light worked well, the stand was useful and being able to switch from high to low light was great as well. The fact that my light looks like I just took it out of the box and it worked so well makes it harder to dispose of. I've literally held onto it charging it periodically hoping it'll start working again.

Piece of junk

I got this light for Christmas from my son and after charging it the first time it worked great. It was bright and lit up a wide area behind my house. I kept it in a drawer by my bed for emergencies. I would use it sometimes at night to go outside to walk to my shop. It was great until I needed to charge it again. I plugged in the charger and nothing happened. After several hours on charge the light would not come on. I don’t know what happened but it just died. Very disappointed in this light.

Does not work after just 2 uses

It worked well on two occasions. Now, it appears to be charged and the USB seems to work but.....no light.

Won’t hold a charge after 2 charges

This was great for about a week. Now will not hold a charge at all.

Light held only two charges ..

Purchased Craftsman Light about 9 months ago and it was a great light out of the box .. After the second charge the light has yet since to take charge ?! I see all the reviews now and I see it's a major problem .. waist of money Craftsman

When it worked it was awesome, now I hate it.

It charged easily when new, and had a blasting easily half mile illumination on high, on low for hours was still amazingly bright. BUT after about 6 months being used once in awhile, it became difficult to use. I would have to click it on and off several times to get the red light to not flash and the light to stay on. Then to charge, I would have to plug it in and again the red light would flash, unplug it and try again. After a few tries of turning it on or charging I could get it to work. Min...

Worked well, 10 or so times. Stopped charging

Won't charge whether plugged into the wall usb power adapter or USB port on a computer. Worked very very well when it was able to be charged. We had this for nearly 2 years and rarely used it. I was very happy with it until I went to use it recently and it just won't work. What junk is this? If you held our unit in your hand, you'd think it was brand new. We kept it in a vinyl carrying case so it was well protected. I guess Craftsman is junk now.

Waste of Money will not charge

This is the second time I've charged it and it will not charge. It was bought this year, what a waste of money! I thought Craftsman backed their products, this item should be replaced with something that actually works!!

No longer takes a charge.

It quit taking a charge after only about 2 years. Worked good up to that point, but now it's useless.

I was loving might until it just stopped charging. But upon reading these reviews I guess a year and a half before it stopped charging is better than most

Poor product

I bought this flashlight less than 6 months ago and it no longer works. The battery will fully charge and when you try to turn it on it turns off by itself. Electric products is not the strong suit of craftsman and should be left to the professionals.

Dead in less than 2 years expensive light!

Bright light the only thing good about this flashlight. It has very little usb without a base and stopped working after very little use and time. Light for charging will not come on so not sure if charged or not but it will not come on. Waste of money for a Craftsman product that had such a good reputation in the past. No more will I trust items will work like they use to. Something is definitely wrong as many have complained with the same issue. Wish I could get it replaced.

No charge

Loved this light was everything I was looking for. However after using for 2 months and charging up 3 times it will no longer charge up. I'll be returning it to Lowes today and buying another brand. If craftman ever come out with this light that uses the same 20V battery that come with their drill then it would be worth the buy.

Namaste. Purchased At My Favourite Local Lowe’s And Was Excited That It Is A ‘craftsman’. NO More. Opened Factory Sealed Store Box; Had NO Base Charge, Did NOT Light; Charged For Two 2 Plus Hours; NADA Nein Nyet. Going BACK To Store For A FULL Refund; ON To An Other Brand.
