Sometimes you have to get into a tight spot and this saw will do it. I was replacing deck boards and some boards had old nails that just wouldn't budge. With the addition of the wood/metal blade, I could just cut right through those. I could have just used a circular saw on this decking project but the recip saw just made the project easier.

Would RecommendI purchased this because the last Craftsman reciprocating saw l had broke where the blade is held in place, rendering it useless. This model has a nicely improved rotating collar to hold the blade snugly and safely in place. This model also saws much more smoothly. Very happy with my purchase.

I’ve using mine for about 10 hours now. I’ve cut soft wood Hard wood Tree limbs Steel bolts I’ve had zero problems. I have to wonder what those who are having blade issues are doing wrong.
