Great Home Blower

Works very well (after 15 hours operation) in my oversized yard and hits hard enough to remove spider webs from the 1st floor eaves. It also does a great job of clearing the under-ground drainage lines so mosquitoes dont breed there.

Bad choke design causes the unit to sputter/die

This unit never ran properly until one day, a month after I bought it, the choke lever just fell off. The screw had fallen out because every time you choke the unit, the screw can loosen thanks to a very cheap and bad design. If you have problems with spitting/sputtering at high rpms or the unit dies randomly, check the choke inside the air cleaner. You'll be shocked at how stupid and incredibly cheap this design is if you know anything about mechanics or engineering.

BP510 Leaf blower= huge disappointment

I purchased this leaf blower one year ago in December. I have a large yard with a lot of oak trees resulting in a lot of leaves in the late fall. Right out of the box it would run great at high speed, then falter and stall after a few minutes as if running out of gas. This year I have gotten to use it more and I can definitely say that there is a problem with the fuel system. It will run at high speed until warmed up then falter as if running out of gas. Great blower right up until it quit running. 2.5 tanks of fuel through the motor and suddenly it would no longer make full RPM and then it just died. New clean fuel and can (premix can from Lowes). But other then that it worker great.

Replacement parts discontinued already

Blower worked great for 2 years and then the ignition coil went bad and the part is discontinued. It's beyond me on how the model is still selling and the replacement parts are discontinued.

great backpack leaf blower

starts easy if you follow the directions step by step. great power, cleared 2 acres off just as good as$900 echo I use. payed $375 I think after taxes . sevierville Tn.

DO NOT BUY

I purchased this blower because of it's price. You get what you pay for. The engine seized on me inside the manufacture's warranty. You have to take it to an authorized dealer to have them look at it, to then make a recommendation about the warranty. Craftsman said they would not cover a seized engine because they could not verify I had not used regular gasoline instead of a gas/oil mix. So I paid $270 for a blower that lasted 2 seasons.
