Ive had this head lamp for a week now and the charge does not last a whole work day im a diesel engine mechanic and out of a 8hr shift i have to charge it twice out of a full charge i may get a hr use if that before i have to charge it again for $30 i feel its a waist of money i would be going with a more expensive and realiable brand next time

crap

Biggest piece of crap ever. I'm on my second one and both didn't last a total of a month. After the first one wouldn't charge anymore I called craftsmen and they said they don't even make those they said I had to call some other company. Global(something or other). I've bought 10 dollar ones that worked longer

Did not work out of the package.

Did not work out of the package. Tried to charge on multiple usb bricks and had zero luck.

Won't hold charge for long.

I was really excited when I saw this rechargeable headlamp. I use headlamps at night a lot and the brightness level is unbelievable. The only problem is after only two charges it would not fully charge. And the brightest level would only last a minute. Now, the brightest level doesn't work and the next level only lasts a couple of minutes. Also I have had trouble with the adjuster becoming loose and wanting to fall down.

Faulty Button

I liked this product because of the 500 lumens and its rechargeable, no need to remove batteries. Now the bad news/ I've owned 4 of these but the button to turn on eventually fails as its stuck in place.

Brightest Light

I love the fact that it is a rechargeable head lamp. Then the best feature is it so bright.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First let me start off by saying I am VERY picky about my lights. This light has definitely landed itself in my favorites. I have used it for literally everything: work, hunting, bowfishing. Its super handy working on cars as well. Ive strongly considered purchasing several cause i dread the day something happens to mine.

Don't buy

I have mine for about 2 weeks. The light gets super hot on your head Used Fluke IR thermometer temp was about 82*. After 5 mins of high power it went from 82* to 120* and the temp was still climbing. Run time on high is about half an hour. Light to strap mount very weak. Takes a long time to charge can not put regular batteries in it. Goes fully charged, steady solid red light to flashing red light charging again. The charging light is ridiculously bright. Is not worth the money. Gonna try harbo...

Won’t turn on

This is the second one of these lights I’ve purchased and have both run into the same problems when the light drains down so far the whole unit just turns off you plug it in it charges and when you take it off the light does not come on you plug it back in and it doesn’t charge anymore so it’s basically useless at that point

bad battery life

First the good It’BRIGHT very very bright, and comfortable Now the bad the reason for 3 stars, battery life SUCKS, there’s no reason for such bad battery life. The battery last’s around 20 minutes not good at all, other vrands have much better battery life, it also vets very hot so that tells me the circuitry is very inefficent

Overpriced Junk Not worth the price

Under very little use the OFF/ON Switch won't move. Absolute Junk.... I had a Hyper Tough rechargeable headlpamp with 4 light settings bought 5 years ago for the same approx price (30$) and it is still working. This has one light setting/range... I could say more but I can't take the time to explain further how useless this headlamp (now broken) was... Good bye... good riddance Craftsman.

Brightest light for the price

Hard to find 500 lumen light for less then $30. The headband does NOT like hydraulic fluid. My band is all shriveled and wrinkled but still functional. The adjustable base function no longer works because it broke. I use it in an industrial setting and it obviously can't take a beating, but you can't beat the brightness of the light, the ease of charging, and the battery life. Low power beam is bright enough for almost any task because the high beam is too bright at arms length. But for fish...
