Return refused

Online purchase. This generator was never opened and I tried to return it within a week and after being accepted as a return online, management refused to accept it. They are sticking to a 48hr. policy which doesn't make sense with an unopened box. The policy was not clearly highlighted online. Gets you by when you loose power. Great to have for outdoor power needs.

Check spec’s before buying

Low’s employee was incorrect on what type of plugs the Generator had, needed one with a 30amp this generator does not have one so with Lowe’s return policy on Generators I’m now stuck with a generator that cant be used for what I bought it for!

Broken put of the box

Have to unboxing the generator. I went carefully through the instructions and made sure everything was ready for it to start. That included adding the oil and checking the dipstick. That is problem number one. The dipstick is horizontal. That's right horizontal. It goes in on the side at about a 5° angle. And with that you are supposed to check the oil amount. What a headache

The generator will not start. It will crank, runs rough, then shuts off after only a few seconds. Oil is brand new and added correctly; gas is brand new and ethanol free. Lowe's will not accept an opened generator even if it is within the 48 hour window they told me about but requires that I contact the manufacturer. Very disappointing-Power quality is very poor

I bought this inverter generator to run a Travis Industries AGP PS pellet stove which needs a pure sine wave power input. The power quality was not good enough so the stove kept resetting. When it resets it pushes out more pellets and you get a huge flame. Had to keep shutting it off. It also would not run a 1/2 hp water boost pump to get water from a 1100 gal tank and pressurize the lines. Breaker would trip. Only used it a few times and now it doesn’t start

Good for small appliances only.

My only experience was during the recent arctic weather. I tried to use it to run a 1500w heater. It would quit running when I turned the heater on.

false advertisement

purchased yesterday 11 Dec 2025. The only thing good about this unit is that Lowe's did exchange units, thank you. Generac and Craftsman not so much to you. Will not run a circle saw, chop saw, smill swallow well pump. Do you get the feeling here. I going forward with the false advertisement to who ever can help with this miss leading tactics. 2 starts for Lowes customer service.
