Do not buy this

A very regrettable purchase. I wish I would have read the reviews first, but typically I trust Lowe’s to carry quality products. I’ve used it 3 times thus far and it’s been an absolute struggle to get started (has taken about a half an hour each time). After reading many reviews of several websites, this seems like an extremely common issue. I’m shocked Lowe’s continues to carry this. Once it’s started, it does the job, but is extremely mediocre and cheap feeling for the price point.

Broke after a few uses

Didn't last. Used for a total of about 5-6 hours before the wheel stopped turning the moment it touched land. Tough to start but when it does, the blade turns until you try to edge - no torque whatsoever. Regrettable purchase. Wouldn't recommend.

height adjustment far too difficult to adjust. have to go thru a long start up procedure !

Assembly takes about 30 minutes min

Easy to assemble. Added oil and gas started on 3rd pull.

very disappointing. worked well for the first month, but afterwards will not start, runs erratically, shuts down for no reason, giving it a single star is giving it too much, In general, it is a piece of junk that I regret purchasing.

Stopped working on second use

Very disappointed in this produce. The blade stopped turning the second weekend that I tried to use it. I absolutely would not recommend this to anyone

Broke my 2nd time using it

I bought this may 24, 2025 in store. I should have looked online first and read all these reviews. Mine took MANY pulls to start on my second use this summer. It then seems to have completely burned out with the blade free-spinning around the drive, but no actual drive blade.

This edger is a workhorse. I just replace my old one after about 10 years of flawless performance. It hit a chunk of loose concrete and bit the dust. I was so happy to find another.

throw away

Have this edger. Its been used maybe 24 times in 2 years. Half the driveway done, stopped for a short break. When it was restarted it was running very hot. Had to shut it down, it's toast! I really think it should have lasted much longer. We take care of our lawn stuff so it's very disappointing.

Where's the TORQUE!

Purchased this edger to replace a trimmer with an edger attachment I was using. NO TORQUE whatsoever!!!! Waste of money. Easy to put together, easy to start and runs great, but once you start edging there is not enough torque to keep the blade going at anything but the lightest of edging work though the engine is still running fine. Completely useless!

Slightly better than my grandsons toy.

I bought this to keep at a rental property. The motor runs fine and starts easy, but it has no power and is hard to keep aligned with the sidewalk. It will not power through the grass easily. Its a pain to use becauseit's too light. I'll put it in a yard sale. Kept it too long to return.

Product is excellent

Product is good, but the pick up time was well over 6 hours, when it stated on the policy's the product will be ready within 3 hours.

broke within 30 minutes of use. not sure if it's a clutch disc or what but the blade stopped spinning. normal use not even an overgrown lawn. now get the run around for warranty.

Won't Start

we bought this edger at Lowes in Columbus, Ohio in 2023. We did not use it until 2024. We did have trouble starting it at first, but ended up using it 4 times. It worked great with no issues. A couple weeks ago and today tried starting it with no success. Any recommendations?
