Worse design of all time

I stuck with craftsman because my grandpa and dad both used all craftsman equipment but the new designs are a joke. My pull string broke and you literally have to take abate the entire blower to fix. Not user friendly and would not recommend to anybody. The string broke my second time using it. I fixed that and my throttle line snapped. This machine is a absolute joke

Not good for me.

I unpacked and set up the blower. Choke cover would not stay on. Poorly crafted. The pull cord was 180 degrees in line with the engine. Every other one I owned had been at 90 degrees or so. Used it the first day and other than the choke cover. The second time I used it, it would not start. That made me wonder how it would be in 2 or 5 years. I returned it and bought an EGO,

Junksman

If I could give it zero stars I would, used this thing five times and the string broke. For me this is the final straw when buying Craftsman products, they are not built like they use to be therefor I must stop wasting my time and money on them. I have purchased other Craftsman lawn equipment with the same results the build quality is just not as good as it once was.Thank you, Lowes of Gainesville VA for taking this crap back.

Very difficult to start

It is very difficult to start. It took me about 100 total pulls in order to get it to start. Then the 3 other starts were difficult too. I have had many 2 cycle engines and never had as much starting problem as I have with this Craftsman. I use the synthetic gas too.

Burn your $. By far the worst blower on the market

Used it a hand full of times and it doesn't crank, parts are extremely hard to come by and as far as a return, good luck on that. Craftsman does offer help through a service center but you will have to pay out of pocket for the repair work to be done on the faulty equipment. And from what I gather even after the blower is serviced it still won't work properly or at all. Smh.

Questionable quality

When I first got the blower I adjusted the throttle because it was set a low RPM. After using it a few times I am having a problem keeping it running even while at a high RPM. It sounds like it is missing but it only has 1 spark plug. I am not very satisfied with this. Am taking it back for a replacement or credit.

Underperformer

Lack of CFM. The air intake sucked my pant leg in every time I used it. I returned it.

Great blower for heavy work!

Purchased online and received it very fast. Would have been better if it had been inside an unmarked box as it came in the factory box and was left on my front steps where it could have been easily taken, but it didnt so nuff said about that. Bigger than I thought and a tad on the heavy side but when you turn it on you know why its heavy! Its powerful, enough that when the throttle is full on and the machine on the ground, you have to hold on to it or it will run away from you! Makea quick work...

Won’t last

After being initially please with this blower in less than 2 yrs it just stopped working. Fuel delivery issue that I couldn’t figure out. Same issue with the edger I bought. Don’t waste your money

A little bit of a struggle for a right handers

It is not as powerful as I thought it would be. Also the intake is on the right side always sucking in my shorts LOL.

Not durable

Like the other 1 Star reviewers stated, the pull cord will not retract on its own. You have to take off the guard and use a socket and drill to wind it but the cord will not retract when you pull it again. You can use the drill to start it but that gets old. FAST.

Starts half the time

I purchased this item last year.,. No problems. This year started fine one pull and then about a week ago very hard to start. I thought I may have flooded it but next day same thing. It eventually started but not after a zillion. Thought it may be the spark plug but found that I didn’t have a tool that small. Not happy. Should have paid attention to the reviews.
