Overall good

I’ve had these flashlights for years now and have went through a handful. I’m a welder and they are great for me to help see in dark areas. They’ve been dropped countless times and exposed to high temps, still work fine. If you do break it these aren’t too expensive so it doesn’t hurt the wallet. I will agree with them consuming the AAA’s. Are these the absolute best? No. Do they get the job done? Yes with no problem.

3 light settings and the ability to angle the head

Really intense ,bright beam! Magnet in base is strong. Overall a great , useful little flashlight. Do not shine this light in anyone's eyes... Blindingly bright

Good enough

It does the job, but the battery life is inadequate.

Cheap junk with quality price

Better have a backup light on hand as this one will leave you stranded in the dark. Magnet was a good feature if the light actually worked more than a month.

Best flashlight ever.

With the bottom magnet and the swivel head it works great when you need to use both hands. I have bought eight of them for my staff. Only problem they don’t have replacement buttons. So if the rubber button falls out there is no replacement.

Love this light...but...

Other people are right. It eats batteries. I found myself not using the light. I thought it would possibly take an 18650 rechargeable battery. It doesn't easily. But with a little ingenuity and a pair of needle nose pliers...it has now been converted to a rechargeable light. Who buys non-rechargeable flashlights anymore? The 18650 battery lasts a long time, and I just throw it in the charger and switch it out with a fresh one. Next up is to figure out a way to wire in a charging port.

Battery Cap won't come off

Great little flashlight, it worked perfect for what I used it for. I left it on over night and when I went to change the batteries I couln't unscrew the cap, had to use pliers. When I put it back together, now it doesn't work.

Nice little flashlight

Pocket clip, magnetic base and swivel head make this a nice light. Nice for small or enclosed areas to give you extra light. not very bright ... would not be recommended for a walk in the woods at night. I use it for electrical panels and machine repair.. has been great for that type of use.

great mechanics light

Love the light. Friend had one , we used at his shop. Loved it. Bought it. Shipping on the other hand , just terrible . Delayed several times. Worth the wait if you can't find in-store.

Good design and functions, but

Eats AAA batteries very quickly. Batteries seem to drain even when flashlight turned off. Have tried different brand and quality batteries with the same result. I would have expected a better functioning product from Craftsman.

Tough and useful light

A great little light that I gave my significant other. She keeps one in her car and one in her purse

This is a very handy little flashlight with the magnetic base etc. The only problem is that it takes 4 AAA batteries and they discharge when not in use. A bad surprise when you are counting on it in a pinch of darkness.

Small but bright

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this light for over a year. It’s a magnet so it attaches easily and extremely bright. Small enough to put anywhere and still work with it there. I would recommend this light if you need something bright and small.
