What Customers Are Saying
Customers are divided on this laser level's reliability. Many praise its ease of use for simple tasks like hanging pictures and shelves, noting the clear visible line eliminates guesswork and calling it great value for basic projects. However, a substantial group reports significant calibration failures, with the laser reading noticeably off compared to actual levels—some noting deviations up to half an inch over seven feet. Build quality concerns are frequent, with users describing the magnetic mount as flimsy, the bracket breaking easily, and the device losing level when walked near. Despite strong satisfaction among those with simple needs, durability and accuracy issues deter many potential buyers.

This did not have the number dial as displayed in the picture nor did it have an antique bace for determining a level space of area. I should have used the old string line instead.
Not self leveling.
Would Not RecommendHard to get true level with this. If all you’re looking for is a straight line across 10-12 feet in a low light environment, this is the perfect tool for you. Moves easily after setting level, so keep checking level each time you go to make a mark.
Simple and Effective
Would RecommendThis is a no frills laser that simple makes a straight line. I used it when laying vinyl planks down to ensure I had a straight line. It did an excellent job.
Line level
Would Not RecommendWont stay where you set it have to hold with one hand which is useless
Works great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just built new shelves in my laundry room, and this left me with no questions that they were going to be level!

Power button prevents sitting on end
Nice little level if you want a horizontal line. I tried using it to ensure wrought iron balusters were vertical, but the power button sticks out far enough to make the unit rock sideways. If I had gone by the laser level, the balusters wouldn't have been plumb.
Can't see beam in well lit room
Would Not RecommendIn a shaded room or in the evening you can see the laser fine but with sun coming in the room or outside it is useless. In addition it is a flat line and no where obvious does it state or show this on the packaging.
