These boxes appear to be a little stiffer than the old boxes. Hopefully the 'ears' dont break off as easily, when some of the goons slam the screws with a dril, snapping the ears off so the fixture falls off the wall, ceiling or wherever. But, this just makes more work for us good installers....LOL
