Only for 1/4” drywall
Would Not RecommendReturning 5-6 tomorrow as I just noticed the mounting nail casting only allows for 1/4 “ drywall.. will only work for 1/2” drywall if you modify the mounting bracket with a dremal tool by shaving it down. Decent thickness plastic. Just mounting issue with 1/2” drywall. Bummer.

Would RecommendThe boxes seem sturdy, but i had a little trouble nailing them in without them shifting. I have installed electrical boxes rarely (homeowner, diy), but for whatever reason I had trouble with these. I still give them 4 stars as the issue is probably the installer. I did break plastic housing around one of the nails when installing one box.
