Nice Features!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I am getting to know this range better and better. I bought this stove specifically for the steam feature. All of the burners are very responsive. The oven heat is lovely. I haven't used all the features yet, however continue to try new methods of cooking. If I could change two things it would be 1) the finish on the edge of the bottom of the oven so it would wipe clean a bit easier; and 2) the drawer would be deep enough to hold the broiler...

Do not buy!

All style no substance. Wife liked the looks of this and the matching fridge and dishwasher. However this stove is terrible! Despite the dials only settings seem to be off or High. As a result food it either undercooked or burnt. Stay away from kitchen aid appliances, they need to stick to mixers

Horrible oven top to clean!!

I bought this a few years ago and have been unhappy with it since the day I bought it. So hard to clean the glass top!! Cleaned it with cook top cleaner as recommended and still won’t clean properly. Water marks, ring after cooking. The worst stove top I’ve ever had! Will never buy again, if I could afford it I’d by something else. When the oven has been used and we turn it off the fan runs for hours before it stops, or I guess it cools off. The oven cleaner with water is awful as well. wo...

Warning - timer tone beeps once and very low

I received my range a week ago. It came dented and scratched. Upon further testing, I noticed that the end of cycle timer tone only beeped once. I also tried adjusting the volume setting hoping that at least the one tone could be a very loud tone but the difference between high and low volume is so negligible that this didn't make a difference. I checked the manual and it says that the end of cycle tone is supposed to sound 4 times. Because of this, I thought my product was defective. It was imp...

Haven’t tried the steam clean yet.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The new KitchenAid range has given me the option to cook at a different level. More precision cooking. Convection was a bit of a learning curve....still adjusting. Absolutely love the knobs on the front. I’m short and don’t have to reach across hot burners. Love the steam option too. I find myself wanting to try new cooking methods and recipes. Thanks!!! Saving up for a microwave now.

Mostly pretty happy

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The controls could have benefitted from a cover or something to avoid accidental shut downs while baking... Finding the oven takes a while to warm up. Convection cooking is awesome. I get great results with the proof mode for the bread I bake Stovetop is great! We find our food to be way hotter when we serve. Able to control stovetop temperatures quite well.

So efficient

My new range is so good,it heats pots on the stove top so fast,the heat is amazing and I just love the burners having small and large pot opinions as well as the keep warm. Experimenting with the convection oven and so far I am loving how my meals are delicious.

Does not live up to Kitchenaid name

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This range is a disappointment and not what I expected from Kitchenaid. The stove top is difficult to keep clean and after only three months service was required to replace a burner switch. Most disappointing is the "Aqualift" oven cleaning. I do not let the oven get too dirty and three cleaning cycles still did not clean a stubborn stain on the back wall. Having to remove the racks and clean manually is frustrating.

AquaLift Self Clean is a big disappointment

Received this about a month ago. First time needing to clean it, going through the AquaLift, which I failed to research beforehand. Basically you pour 2 cups of water in the bottom of the oven, and then the oven gets warm enough to steam (doesn't boil the water, so not really getting any real steam going). Does nothing to remove dirt. "Self clean" means you, yourSELF are getting on your hands an knees to CLEAN this oven. If this is an important feature, look elsewhere.

Slide In Range

Easy care and great style!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have had this new range for a month now and am really enjoying using it. The large oven window makes it so easy to see how the roasting or baking is going. It’s so easy to clean the glass top compared to the last range we owned.

It’s okay.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Not happy with the Aqua lift cleaning. You still have to clean it. My first one only lasted 7 months and had to fight to get it warranty.

Excellent Appliance

Good function but scratches too easily

Our solution is to broil for 5-10 minutes and then set the oven, which decreases the time needed significantly. The warming drawer temperature is lower than stated. Used it twice and didn't get hot enough. The top - the frame containing the controls is set above the cooking surface, and got scratched on day one, and keeps getting scratched. Great features and beautiful in our kitchen

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We bought this just prior to Christmas and it made our Christmas baking so easy!! Not only is this range beautiful but I was pleasantly surprised that I could cook 8 pies at a time!!
