First, the window showing the coin stacks value stops sorry of a full roll; pennies go up to $0.45, quarters to $9.00, etc. Just make it go up to the full roll value! Another issue is that even with a less than a roll capacity, to reach that mark, the kid has to remove the top rather than through the slots because there's ZERO space for the coins to enter the slots and fall flat. Cool easy project, design could use a tweak
This project is fun and easy. You may need to help hammer the nails for those kids that are more gentle. It is a cool design and fun to build with your kiddo. I did put some spacers in the back of each of the coin areas so that coins would sit better without falling into the crack. It will still hold coins otherwise, but may not be as neat and tidy as you would like.
