What is expected

The kit is what you would expect. Pre-drilled holes for the nails. Great for a first time project with the younger ones.

easy fun kid project!

We supervised our 10 and 8yr olds work on this and learn how the directions ask for only so much and get the other info from the diagrams. It was fun to see the make the mistakes and then have us point out what possibly could be the culprit and then they solve it and fix it! Great fun

Daughter loved building it

Bought this to build with my 4 year old daughter and it was easy to assemble and she loves it

Great project for kids

My son had been after us to build a bird house. We saw this kit up front near the checkouts when we went to buy something else. I clearly saw it was for ages 5+ and grabbed it without giving it much thought. My boys (ages 3.5 and 5.5) assembled this with their grandfather in about 15 minutes, each taking a turn with the hammer. They were so proud of their accomplishment at the end. Birdhouse

Birdhouse I have not assisted my granddaughter in putting this one together, but we have done another birdhouse which my granddaughter painted. Very successful projects

Fun for an adult too

My took this to a women’s gathering that focused on friends more than crafting. Had a great time painting and assembly and was still able to visit without drawing any blood or spill paint.

Great kids project

I used this kit for my Cub scout pack, one of our projects was a bird house. This was easy, fun and the instructions were easy for the kids. They have allot of other kits also and I am sure my boys would like to work on a few of those.

Grandfather/Grandson project

BIRD HOUSE KIT

Neat looking birdhouse. It is mostly open in the back so when mounted to a window (with included suction cups), birds inside the house should be visible. Ideal size for a family of blue birds. Easy for adults to assemble so it should be very easy for kids.

Great First Project

I completed this with my oldest son for Cub Scouts. It was easy to assemble together and the directions were great. I’ll get more of these for other projects.
