Grandpa grandson project
Would RecommendI like to do wood work and I have a grandson who is interested. 6-year-old boys like to see more instant gratification these days. So this was a great project for us. I can help him hold parts while he puts it together. He can do the decals. All the parts were there and good directions. great grandpa / grandson project.

You do need small hammer for young children to use
Would RecommendWe brought 3 of these to make with our grandsons, one is age 6, two are age 3-1/2. The product was well made and had clear instructions for assembly. We were surprised that both boys were able to use our small hammers (which we had one hand) to nail these race cars together! Forceful pounding at the end was necessary to complete certain parts. It was such fun and they had such a sense of accomplishment and pure joy in racing them afterward!
