Not a good business printer

Wi-Fi is very hard to connect. I had to plug into switch on the network to connect. Paper continually gets jammed.

Tremendous Alternative To HP

This printer works very well. I have always had HP printers, but got tired of all the signing in and restrictions on ink usage (You have to use theirs or machine won't work) This printer does everything I want and need in a printer scanner. Easy to set up and use. One word of advice, copy down the password as it is required for updates. Depending on where you set it up it can be inconvenient to get at.

Easy-Peasy

I love this printer so far. Its been 3 months since I bought it and I am very pleased with its performance. I do not understand why setup has been so difficult for some users. I work from home on a secured network and there are layers of software that tend to complicate my life, but with the Brother printer, it couldn't have been easier. Best Inkjet you can buy for the price

This (MFC-J6555DW) is the best inkjet printer I have owned and I have had 4 previous inkjets, but thisis my first brother printer. This printer prints so much faster than any inkjet I have owned or used. It prints on standard, legal, and ledger (11 X 17) size paper, which is a great feature. It holds enought ink in the cartridge for months of printing at the rate that I use it. It was easy to setup and I get periodic software updates from Brother as needed. Sold on Brother

The original machine would not scan nor fax. The replacement machine works perfectly! It prints on demand unlike other printers I have had. There is no hesitation in the performance of this machine.

Good printer for the size range to Print

Overall the printer has meet my needs for a 11 x 17 print size very well. I don't have any real issues yet. The biggest problem was download all the startup and other programs it needed. It took nearly 4 hours and I don't think that was all my connection.

Great printer!

The printer is excellent - fast, quiet, quality prints, easy to scan. BUT, the ink is ridiculously high which is very disappointing.

Great Home Office printer/scanner

So far this has been a great machine. I routinely scan utilizing the feeder and have had no issues. I use it on a wireless network and it does not often lose connection. It seems to be very economical on ink too! I don't really print pictures but the color is crisp in my documents. I would definitely recommend this for a home office.

Double Sided Prints-Not Here

Unfortunately this printer is suppose to do double sided prints but gets jammed every single time.

Not recommended

First time the scanner head brock in a month and had to return it. The next one would not stay connected to wifi or even be able to find it and if it did it would stop working by the next day.

Fussy Paper Tray Settings

The settings on the choice of two different paper trays to use is very fussy and frustrating. This is my only negative comment of this model. I found my previous Brother to be a five star and because the paper tray settings have been so fussy, I would not purchase this model again.
