Love the standard pitcher filter

I've ditched environmentally-unfriendly disposable plastic bottled water and I've always got cold, filtered water in the fridge thanks to the Brita standard pitcher filter.

No carbon residue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new and improved filters leave no residue like the old versions. There are no carbon particles that require rinsing with pitchers of water, although I still rinse and soak for a minute. I then use the water for the plants. I purchase in bulk and I change my filters a little more frequently than required as I do not like seeing the trapped particles on the screen.
