Certain Type of Faucet Needed to Properly Install

Never knew what an aerator was until trying to install this filter. Apparently our sink has an aerator located inside the faucet that doesn’t simply screw off unless you have a special tool, making it impossible to install the brita filter. I wish they wouldn’t disclosed that BOLDLY in the product description, because I wouldn’t have ordered it if I knew I needed to have a plumbers toolset to install.

Dripping is a nightmare

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Brita for 3 years, had to keep buying new unit because it dripped so much to the point it was a constant drip when I used the filter. No matter how many times I tried, I could not get it to stop dripping.

Great Filtered Walter

Great product

Broke after 8 months, wish it had a warranty

I purchased the faucet filter system for my new apartment. I didn't want to refill a Brita pitcher everyday, but the tap water tasted awful without a filter. The system was a game changer for 8 months, but even after replacing the filters on time, the system no longer functions as smoothly. The knob to turn from "filtered" to "unfiltered" was easy to switch for the first two weeks, but then it got very difficult to move the knob and it makes a creaking noise. Great Faucet filter

Rubber gasket always breaking.

Rubber gasket between faucet and filter goes bad within months, can't find a replacement gasket anywhere.

Convenient filtered water at home!

I enjoy having filtered water right at my sink, anytime I need it now.

Knob stiff

The knob on the side of the filter to switch from faucet to filter gets stiff and very hard to turn within a month or 2. Brita replaced my first one when the knob was extremely difficult to turn but the one they sent me I haven't had long and it's doing the same dang thing. Makes it very difficult for kids to be able to get filter water on their own because they can't turn the knob anymore at some point....

Strainer gasket Failure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a few weeks, the rubber gasket around the strainer screen, has broke. It now leaks water all over the place. Sad that you can’t even go on to the website directly and buy a new strainer screen to fit into the faucet or that the original unit only comes with one… so you have to buy a whole new unit??? I went to a hardware store and bought something I thought was the same, but the rubber strainer gasket is too thick and hard to compress and...
