EZ Lock for the win

With the screw-type mandrels, there have been a lot of times I didn't bother to use the rotary tool just because of the hassle of the set-up, particularly for a quick job, but with how easy and quick it is to use the EZ Lock mandrels, I get more usage out of my rotary tool (current one is a Dremel 4300) than without EZ Lock. Dremel EZ Lock Mandrel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dremel EZ Lock Mandrel (EZ402) makes switching Dremel attachments quite fast and easy when EZ Lock attachments are used. It does take a little practice to find a good grip to pull back the lock, but once this is mastered it becomes quite easy.

Good idea just have to get used to it. Dremel sent this item to me free of charge to try for them. I like hte idea just wish it was easier to use.

Great and easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love the ez lock it's easy to set up and use. It holds the cutter so you don't have to worry about it falling off I was able to sand my whole bar in a day without gouging it like the other dremel sanders

Handy to Have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like how easy this is to use for changing attachments as they begin to wear out. It makes any task that requires changing out attachments frequently (like sanding discs) so much easier and more controlled. The only thing I had a concern with was as the more I used it, the more the interlock clasps seem to wear down. All in all, I would definitely recommend having this this!

The EZ Lock Mandrel Makes Magic happen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the Mandrel inserted into the Dremel, and placing the accessory onto the top of the Mandrel by pulling down at the top of the Mandrel, the accessory pops on, and you just twist and it's lock in place. It all become easy, fast, and magic. Ready to go. The system that works.

It's just that easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This EZ lock is...well easy! I like that it is able to snap into place and keep whatever I put into the slot, securely. Not hard at all to swap out the current disk with another EZ lock. I used with with the sanding pad and worked great and I also had a ceramic disk from one of my other kits that was compatible and was able to use it to cut something with it!

Useful and Well Made Accessory

EZ Lock Mandrel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product with a course sanding disc for an Halloween project. The sanding disc was used to sand a corner portion of a piece of wood. Very easy to use this the easy lock sanding disc and it saves lot of time not to have to use the little screws to attach discs. I will continue to use this every time for future woodworking projects.

Hold On To Your Disc

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well once you get the disc on. I had a problem getting the disc on. I could not hold down the sleeve very well to get the disc on. It took several tries to get it on. The pull down sleeve edge could be a little wider so a better grip can be made.

Great mandrel

The ez mandrel makes it as simple as 123 to change the type of head you're using. The mandrel works on a bunch of different heads which is great because once the mandrel arbor is fastened in all you have to do is a quick turn and release and put on a different head

Must Have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dremel had out did themselves when they designed the EZ Lock Mandrel. This is much easier and faster to change out sanding disk and cut off wheels. The locking designs prevents the disks from loosening.

Better tool - innovative.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am often surprised by some tools. The time savings this mandrel provided was appreciated. Not having to unscrew a tiny screw to change the abrasive disks used by this tool is appreciated. I used to drop the screws and have to go crawling around on hands and knees looking for it. This new design is easier, better.

Must Have

Really enjoy having this. in my collection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is really helpful in making a good connection for the cut off wheels and other wheels used for cutting and grinding. The locking feature is solid and easy to use. I only use this now instead of the older connection type for wheels. I would say that it would help to have a longer shaft to help in changing this out while connected to the Dremel.
