Best trim router ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned this trim router for several years and it does the work of any router I have used otherwise. Never bogs down with hardwoods, gives good results on softwoods and is easy to handle in tight spaces.

Great all around trim router

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a small residential remodeler this trim router comes in handy almost everyday. The variable speed makes it a great option for multiple tasks. From trimming sheathing out of window openings to trimming edge banding and laminate this router does it all!

Design is Lacking!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The router works well and is user friendly except for adjusting the cutting depth. I can not get the depth, fine, adjustment to function properly. I can get it to decrease the depth but if I try to adjust it for a deeper cut it just clicks, like it's stripped, and does not move.

Better than Kobalt

As a beginner I like this very much. It does what you would expect and you can have fun practicing with it. Very reliable and powerful. Better than the Kobalt router.

Dewalt was out of stock

First bought the bosch 1.0 hp colt. It died after two weeks right in the middle of a job. So I took it back to lowes to exchange it and upgrade to the dewalt, but the dewalt was out of stock. I had to have something to finish the job I was on, so I bought the 1.25 hp. The jury is still out on whether it will last. I think bosch started using cheap bearings cause both units sounded terrible at start up and stopping.

Nice hand held router

Very nice, should come with a base that excepts bushings.

Great little router

This won't flatten that 3" thick 4x11 slab, but it does just fine as a trim and detail router. It's more than sufficient for most home use.

Works well on Shark SD100

I purchased this specifically to put on my CNC. I was tired of my battery running out of power mid program on my Dewalt. A Bosch was always in the SD 100 promo pics from Shark so I asked in the forum here at Lowe's if this Bosch would work. I specifically said that I was going to put it on my CNC but the response from Bosch said it wasn't designed for "router tables". Of course a CNC is different form a Router Table and since the owner's manual for my CNC said the mounting brackets were for eith...

This was my first router and it was a great choice

I’ve never owned or used a router until this one. It was easy to set up and had plenty of power to create bead moulding on some poplar I was using. It was a good buy and I know it will be used often.

Great product

Highly recommend this router, quality made powerful and ergonomic. Only negative is that it is hard to see depth measurements.

Almost too easy

I bought this to cut some mortises in a replacement door. I was done in 10 minutes. Excited to find other projects now so I can further justify the purchase. Super comfortable tool. Plenty of power. Interested in what accessories are available.
