I recently purchased the GKF125CEK Palm Router. I did so because after purchasing a Bosch Circular Saw I thought I would see if all their tools were of such quality. So I purchased a 1617EVS router to install in my router table. It was the smoothest, quietest and best router I had used! Powerful and electronic speed control. So u purchased another for hand held use. Then the RA1128 template guide set. Then I purchased the plug base for the 1617EVS. WELL IF THAT WASN’T ENOUGH! I ordered the guide...

Problems with collet and depth adjust

After about 8 months of light use, the collet refuses to come off without mounting the entire thing in a vice and using max force to unscrew it enough to remove a bit. Same with putting it back on. The depth adjustment has somehow created gouges in the aluminum shell and refuses to slide up or down. Sending back to Bosch for repair under their 12 month warranty program.

Open Box Item Sold As New

I'm deducting a star because this clearly was an open box returned item. It's the second time Lowe's has done this to me. The router felt dirty and the parts bag was torn open. I don't know if anything is missing. I think someone only needed to use it once, so they got a freebie at my expense. I'm angry because Lowe's shouldn't sell something like this as new. It isn't new. Awesome Tool!

I bought this router to replace a big 'ol dinosaur that I'd had for years. I love the compact design, the LED lights, and the carrying case. Very happy!

Awesome little router

I bought this to to a bunch of edge laminate/resin board trimming and love this little thing. The adjustment mechanism is so simple to use and plenty precise. Plenty of power and well balanced. Very happy about this purchase.

BOSCH COLT 1.25 HP ROUTER KIT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this several months ago and it was a good investment. The LED light illuminates the bit, making it easier to follow the cut as it is made. The edge guide is a great plus. And the 1.25 HP motor has plenty of power for this rugged palm router. You can store it neatly in the carrying case that's included in this kit.

Great tool except for spindle lock

Works great, solid, nice to use but the spindle lock is useless. The pin isn’t long enough to stop the spindle moving with just a little pressure on the wrench
