Meh!

The blade inserts easily, which is good, but then it is somewhat wobbly. I have other Bosch tools and they are very good. My Dewalt sawzall gave out after over twenty years of great service, but I thought I would give Bosch a try. Mistake.

The absolute best, wouldn't buy any other brand for a corded reciprocating saw.

My first power tool!

I love my new saw... makes me feel like a warrior princess to own it! Very easy to use. Another reviewer mentioned the bag that it comes in and said they wished there was a box. I like the bag! It all fit. One thing I need to say is that the blade bent on the first use, so just buy a pack of extra blades. It sliced through VERY thick wood though, so of course it bend a *little* bit. I think I’ll have this for a long time! :)

This thing is a beast

I've had no issues and am surprised how much it out performs the one it is replacing and I got it at a great price

Corded replacement for battery unit of another man

Batteries for a different manufacturer no longer available. Bought the Bosch and would never go back. This unit is relatively light weight, carries and stores in a compact bag. Plenty of power as it cuts through wood, wood metal, and leaves clean lines because it has great power. Highly recommend

Worthy Sawzall

Its powerful, built solid, handles well, and its a work horse. I had an Dewalt and in my opinion is better than Dewalt.

Awesome Saw!

I just purchased this saw about up 10 pallets, cutting through wood and nails and it never missed a beat. Very satisfied so far.

My review of the Bosch Model RS325 Bosch makes a full line of reciprocating saws for commercial and pro-sumer needs and the entry level model is the Bosch RS325 12Amp reciprocating saw. While all Bosch products are commercial use grade, this model cuts it closest to consumer grade. From its heavy countenance to its linear-only actuation to its chrome plated chuck release collar, this thing wreaks of no-frills and disappointing performance. Sadly, those shortcomings bleed into a lackluster saw...

Very disappointing

The chuck doesn't do a decent job of holding the blade. After less than an hour of light duty such as pruning small tree limbs the motor lost power and the saw has to be shaken for the motor to run. I have been displeased with most of the Bosch tools I have bought and it is unlikely I will get any more.

Broke light use

I was cutting my deck apart and the connecting rod broke. This saw had about 10 hours on it all together. Do yourself a favor and buy a better quality saw.

Did the job.

This was my first reciprocating saw, I needed to use a 12" pruning blade and had I known the orbital action would make the blade flop around like crazy I would have bought one without the orbital action. The orbital action works good with short blades.

A great saw. Was expecting a case, not a bag.

The 12 amp Bosch RS325 reciprocating saw has plenty of power. I used it to cut through cast iron drain pipe in a bathroom remodel. It’s a heavy duty peace of equipment. I was disappointed with the storage bag that came with it. The Lowe’s web site states that it comes with a case. Why can’t the manufacturers include a blow molded plastic case?
