Would Not RecommendMy husband and I got it to tear the floor out of our camper. With the fixed foot, the blades bent and even broke when they were brand new. He says "that's a really bad design. I can't believe Bosch would design a reciprocating saw with a fixed foot". Why?

Would RecommendAs a first time user of a reciprocating saw, I was unprepared for the amount of vibration I experienced. However, I successfully cut up and removed a composite deck with it, so I am grateful it did the job. The composite material was much more dense than wood, and I attribute the vibration to that. Foot vibrated loose after 3 days of use.
Saw worked great until the foot came loose. I was using Lennox metal blades to cut up an old mobile home frame.saw cut through metal as expected with relatively low vibration. After several cuts I noticed blade was getting pinched and bent. when I changed the blade I found that one of the foot screws was missing. I managed to locate a similar one and replaced it.
