Good product.

Works as advertised - poor documentation. No way to hold for vertical beam. Lowe’s does not carry accessories I need for ceiling grid install. Would have gone with Milwaukee but HD was out of stock.

Easy Setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to set up and use. The only down side is that you must use the powered detector at any distance in sun light and the detector eats batteries. Easy enough to use that my non-technical wife helped shoot grade while I was on the tractor grading.

Anything but level

I’ve had many different brand levels over the years, when I say this level is terrible I meannitnin the worse way. Used it to dig a swiming pool and only when I discovered the pool shelf was 6” low on far side did inrealize it was not accurate at all. I took it inside and put it in the center of a room, leveled it manually and turned it on to find it 1” off on opposing walls in a 16’ room. This thing is absolutely useless and a hige waste if money.

Poor choice to shoot a lot line for fence posts.

To use to fence posts in on an acreage one needs to set the unit on a box, the grass, etc to run the vertical line if a slope is involved. For the money, I am returning the unit. No adaptors available to use this way with a transit..

Laser level

Not pleased with performance, drains batteries in receiver head before you can measure out 4 corners. Will be returning unit to store. Purchased topcon model and it works perfectly.

Finicky

Rod is too short and laser won’t pick up level. Either too high or too low.

Landscaper

I bought the GL 1000 Bosch laser level this past winter, getting ready for a job I have lined up for this spring. Worked great for that job ,but when I got it out today to start to check grade for a new shed install it was working fine. i shut it off to do more digging and than turned back on to check grade. Not for the professional

I am thankful that I was able to return this product after initial use. I have used Trimble and Topcon systems on the job in the past as a construction grade setter, for concrete and farming. For the money my expectations were high. It did not perform, for me, as other systems I have used in the past. I ended up re-dong some work after double checking forms with a smart level when things didn't didn't look right. Two things: I have to be able to trust it and it has to last. After using it ...

accurate

Pretty happy so far. Used it to put in my septic and set grade for my concrete floors. Only thing i font care for is its too accurate. Haha. Its way more accurate then i am. It is hard to keep the receiver on grade. 1/4 in and its off and beeping again. But it got me to the correct depth and heights. Overall good product. Great out of the box

Bought this for a deck project I was doing. Works great made everything go faster and smoother and able to use it by myself. Easy to use fast setup

Great and User friendly

I was skeptical at first having never purchased a laser level of this caliber. After getting the laser set up it was very easy to use. Self leveling and comes with a 8’ stick and all the battery’s needed.
