Poor machining?

I purchased this specifically to use a 1/4" bit with a bearing. First one I purchased, the bit/collet was obviously not 90 degrees to the base. Returned it exchanged. The new one is the same way. It is relatively straight until you lock in the adjustment screw, then it skews out of 90 degrees. Guess I'll have to go with a better brand this time.

Ok but a depth issue

Item is ok. The biggest issue is the depth locking. It slips. Also when turning to the lock setting, the depth moves. I own four routers (had more in the past) this is the only one that doesn’t hold the setting tight. Makes it hard and way more time consuming to use.

Nice trim router

Picked it up on sale and have loved it so far. Great for chamfers and small projects.

Bosch did not disappoint.

I liked the power of this small router in a small size. The price was great. Got it on sale so that made this purchase that much better. I works great. I’m a novice to woodworking but this router feels and works better that most entry level tools.

Good Router for the Price

The router worked for what I needed it for which was to round over wood on a bench I built. It was a little hard to get it to stay in adjustment at first, but now seems to be staying.

It's a Bosch, That Means Quality (To Me)

Quality built and easy to use with good features. I like that the fence guide has two attach points, not just one. It's also ergonomically comfortable to hold and use, especially if you're doing free hand routering and not using a guide. Great tool!

This was exactly like it was described. I wish that the lock was a little tighter so that there was no movement on the router but it's the best I've seen on the market so far short of spending for $500 for a hand router. I feel this is a good investment good price good tool.

Great router for the two times I used it!

I purchased this router to do edges and small bowties on some projects. I used the router to round the corners of my walnut mantle. A year later I was building a walnut countertop. I was using a 1/4" bit at about 1/4" depth to put in a small bowtie, I was going to make several passes and increase my depth. Removed less than 1 sq in and sparks started to come out of the top and now it won't turn on.

Gone too soon?

Bought this router to replace the same model that had died just a month or so after the warranty expired. It is used as part of a Castle pocket boring machine and works flawlessly - until it doesn't. Wish it had a bit more life in it, but for $100, I can't complain.
