What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the bonsai trees for arriving healthy, well-shaped, and thriving, with many describing vibrant growth and excellent in-store care. The value proposition stands out, particularly on clearance items, with reviewers noting strong affordability and quality rarely found elsewhere. However, some mention the potting soil retains excess moisture and lacks proper drainage, requiring repotting upon arrival. A few report receiving unhealthy or dead plants, though these cases are uncommon. Overall, most customers consider the trees worthwhile purchases despite minor potting concerns.

$10 not a bad price for a baby bonsai tree
Would RecommendRight after i got it i replanted it. Cut back the roots and used the same pot the pot should be as deep as the trunk is thick thats why most traditional bonsai which means(trees grown in a pot) are grown in 4"to 12" pots that are only 1/2"-4" deep. The sediment in the pot should be fast draining so the water doesn't sit in the pot. Mesh liners should be added to the holes on the bottom of pot to alow drainage w/out loosing sediment. Most bonsai's need the soil to be moist at all times but ov...

perfect plant for small area
Would RecommendI bought this bonsai tree for my downstairs powder room. It fits perfectly with the decor, and was just the right touch for this small room.
Cute Plants.
Would RecommendContainer should be designed to allow easy watering. The moss/decoration on the base does not facilitate easy watering. Could be sold at a lower price. However cute plants.
Died super quick.
Would Not RecommendFollowed care instructions to a tee and died shortly after purchase. I believe the pot was entirely too narrow/small for the plant to survive - even a bonsai.
Don't buy this Bonsai Plant
Would Not RecommendI just returned from a 60 mile round trip to pick up this 'bonsai' tree. It looks NOTHING like the picture on the webpage. It is not in a flat dish but a pot the size of a drink cup, with a fat gnarley trunk and tiny sprig of green coming out of the top. Ugliest thing I've seen. I returned it immediately. I have always counted on Lowe's quality but they let me down this time.
Not at all like the picture
Would Not RecommendI knew the deal was too good to be true but I was shocked when the picture showed a beautiful bonsai tree and when I went to pick the item up at the store, it was actually more like a little bamboo plant. not bonsai at all... Returned it as soon as I saw it.
