What Customers Are Saying
The product is a versatile and effective putty that works well as a wood filler, drying quickly and being easy to sand. Many users praise its strength and durability, noting it holds up over time even in outdoor and high-wear environments. However, some caution it can be challenging to work with, as it hardens quickly and requires careful mixing and application. A few also mentioned the strong fumes as a potential downside, and some felt the instructions could be clearer.

Would RecommendWorks great for patching wood joints interior or exterior. Sand in 20 min. $20 a quart is bit much

Bondo in cans is difficult to use.
Would RecommendLove this product, have used for over forty years! However, for home owner applications it would be far easier to use if it came in a tube. That way you can squeeze out what you need without using a messy paint stirrer or spatula. Just a thought….

The Secret is Out: Bondo fixes everything!
Would RecommendThis product was recommended to me by an old carpenter to fix gaps and holes while constructing an outdoor wooden stair. I believe Bondo is commonly used on cars and things of the like, but it works extremely well on wood. After painting, you couldn't tell the difference at all.

Hard wood
Would RecommendEasy to mix. Reasonable working time. Dries hard, sands well. Time will tell how it holds up to the weather, but so far so good.

Great product!
Would Not RecommendEasy to use - but move quick! Amazing strength and end result!
Vague mixing ratio
Would Not RecommendThe mixing instruction assume you are mixing a fairly large lump and is described as a 3" diameter disk 1/2" high. I dare anyone to scoop such shape of honey like substance from the can. If one uses smaller quantities at the time is probably best to use more hardener than less but is not clear how much excess hardener is in the tube. Defining mixing in terms of tablespoon and providing the hardener in a graduated syringe would make the product actually useable.

Works great on exterior wood
Would RecommendUsed to repair porch posts. Worked great.
no hardener!!!!!!
This is an amazing product, but needs the hardener usually in the lid, and I assumed it was (because the lid is pretty opaque) and it wasn't Lowes is to blame, but Bondo should make a clear lid. There goes another 2 hours of my day.
This works great
Would RecommendFirst time using this stuff to patch a door that had a mortar center core and it sealed great sanded easily and smooth like new finish. Dries quickly so use as directed.
