Excellent price for this bike hook

Well made and affordable bike hook I used to hang up two bikes vertically in my garage.

too large of a diameter

This was larger than I would recommend for most bike rims. it protruded out further than I like and the curve was so large for the small contact patch between most bike rims and this. That said, it was over built and the threaded part was heavy duty for any other jobs you would need. It didn't make sense for a road bike or even a 2.1 mountain bike tire and rim. it would probably be perfect for a fat bike.

Installed easily with pilot hole to stud

I drilled a pilot hole first and was able to screw this hanger into a garage stud firmly. Bicycle is hanging vertically. Yes, I lifted it myself.

Works well

The hook is great. Much bigger than expected. I’ve got three bikes hanging from three of these.

Bike Hook

This is a bike hook. I screwed two of them into the ceiling joists in my garage. They now hold my bike which is good because I was tired of it cluttering up my garage and mocking my soft, fat body. Rubberized for extra protection.

If you are looking for a hook to complete your pirate costume, this is not the one you are looking for. If, on the other hand, you need a hook to hold up any number of awkwardly shaped tools or items around the house or shop, this should do the job. While sold as a bike hook, I actually use it to hold a chain saw. I imagine that this hook would work perfectly for holding a bike, too. Very easy to find in storage area. Good material easy to use to hang all three mountain bikes above my garage

This is a very well made, heavy duty, rubber coated hook. It will support a lot of weight. I have not had one break yet. Should pre-drill hole, makes it easier and better.

Great purchase for hanging a bike

I bought 5 of these to hang out families bicycles on and they work perfect!!!

Tougher than it looks

For two bucks this thing can hold a heavy bike. I though for sure hanging it from the wall instead of the ceiling, would surely make this hook bend or even pull out. Nope. It's not a lightweight bike either. But, make sure you pre-drill a hole before you start screwing it into the framing so it doesn't split, and use a pry bar or something as leverage when screwing it in

These hooks work well, without damaging the finish of the items you are hanging. Since I had to put them through 5/8 inch ceiling drywall I would have preferred a few more threads for a deeper anchor, but the larger diameter of the hook compensates for that. I am using them for 15 lb lawn chairs instead of heavier bikes.

Metal "Bike" Hook

I'm using the hooks for hoses, extension cords and a weed/lawn trimmer. They are the right shape for all of those items and they are sturdy enough to hold the weight of the trimmer.
