What Customers Are Saying
The Blue Hawk Black Tapping Block is a useful tool for installing laminate flooring, but it has some durability issues. Many found the block to be fragile and prone to cracking or breaking, especially when used with a hard mallet or for larger projects. However, when used carefully with a rubber mallet, the block was effective at securing the flooring without damage. The tapping block may work well for small jobs, but may not be durable enough for professional or large-scale installations.

Would Not RecommendCheaply made and small in size. The first one split 1/2 way through the first job.

Takes a beating and keeps on pounding.
Would RecommendThis block did a great job of pounding my PVL planks into place and took a solid beating every time.

Works but a finger hazard
Would Not RecommendThis tool works well but that lack of a grab is a real hazard for your fingers. With such a small face to strike, some sort or holder on the backside would go a long way to protecting fingers.
expensive garbage
Would Not Recommendbought one to do my vinyl plank flooring. split in half. went back, got another and same thing. can't be that I'm hitting too hard. they recommend using a dead blow and I'm not. besides breaking, it doesn't hold and I smashed my finger by it jumping out of place.
