What Customers Are Saying
The spacers provide a mixed experience for installing laminate or hardwood flooring. Many found them helpful in maintaining consistent spacing between the floor and walls, especially on uneven surfaces, due to their adjustable nature. However, some customers reported issues with the spacers sliding or rotating, making them difficult to keep in place. Additionally, a few users felt the spacers were too thin or flimsy for their needs, requiring the use of alternative materials.

Would RecommendSturdy floor spacers worked well when installing new flooring. Kept an even spacing.
Laminate flooring spacers
Should make different size blocks instead o having to stack wedges together they are difficult to get out sometimes.
Ok
Would RecommendThe work fine just make sure you tape them to wall or they are a real pain. Always falling over as you snap the next board together.

Durable
Would RecommendUsed these when installing laminate floors. Work great; and unlike wooden shims they are very durable.
Use something else for spacing
Would Not RecommendBlocks were too small and scrap flooring worked better These were hard to keep in place
Didn't really work...
Would Not RecommendNever could get them to stay in place – ended up using scrap pieces of wood instead.
These make a real difference
Would RecommendWhen installing a hardwood floor, these spacers are vital. Keeps equal spacing of each row which makes a huge difference when you get near the end. Don't try to use something else that can have a slight difference in size. Also, these spacers are easily removed afterward for installation of trim around flooring.

Buy before you start laying
Would RecommendI'm glad I picked these up before i started the job. They worked great. Lots of them too.
Why Black?
Would Not RecommendThese are black and if using a black moisture barrier it is almost impossible to tell if they are in place. To get the requisite expansion space you have to put two of these together to form a rectangle; another hassle. My son suggested using silver duct tape to tape two together to make it easier to see if they are in place which was helpful but at the price for these is not something I should have had to do. If I need to buy these in the future I would look elsewhere.
Useful
Would RecommendIf installing a hardwood floor, these are imperative for an expansion gap. They are easy to install and easy to remove when finished.
Spacer struggles
Would Not RecommendSo... the concept is there and I suppose it gives you a visual to get going, but these have proved to be more trouble than they’re worth. They won’t stay in place when trying to space the hardwood from the drywall. Their small tapered design makes it exceptionally easy to slide out of place and under the flooring causing you to have to pull it back up to get the spacer out from under the floor. Save yourself some money and rip some longer pieces of scrap wood to suit your needs. It helps to leav...
